Air Fryer Veggies (Online Class)

Using an Air Fryer to cook vegetables is quick—and the healthy results are delicious! In this live online class Kirsten will demonstrate a variety of recipes using in-season local and/or commonly available vegetables including Lemon Pepper Broccoli, Miso Sesame Kale Chips, and Roasted Sweet Potato Sticks. Participants will receive an extensive handout along with the link to join prior to class. There will be ample time for questions during the session, and participants will receive a link to the recording afterwards so you can cook along at your convenience. We’ll start by preparing a grain base and a protein and while those are cooking we’ll make a sauce and some fresh sides, then assemble everything to enjoy now OR pack separately for meal prep. Send your taste buds on a trip to romantic France! During this hands-on class, you will prepare a course French dinner that will be sure to impress. Provence, the regional home to Marseille, Nice and the Riviera, often bases its cuisine on garlic, olive oil, tomatoes, saffron, and herbs. Experience vichyssoise, potato galettes, saffron rice, coquilles St. Jaques a la Provencale and créme caramel. You will also learn something of the history and culture of the French Provence region. Experience the newest twist on the beloved macaron – an impressive macaron cake crafted from layers of oversized macarons and rich fillings, decorated with traditional macarons. This class is open to everyone, whether or not you have previously participated in Nancy’s macaron classes. You will mix, bake, and assemble your own visually stunning macaron cake, sure to dazzle on any occasion. All necessary supplies are provided. Traditionally Scottish scones are a delectable quick bread that comes in assorted shapes. Enjoy a variety of easy scone recipes including Lemon Cream Scones and the traditional Currant Scone. We will taste wonderful lemon curd and traditional Devonshire cream or whipped cream for tea as we try our scones warm out of the oven. We will also make a White Chocolate Spread for our creations. Bring a container so you can save your scones, which can be frozen and reheated. Registration for all class sessions closes 3 days before the start date. You’ll begin by preparing Vietnamese summer rolls (fresh) served with both hoisin and peanut sauce for dipping. Included are Vietnamese spring rolls (fried) with pork, turkey, and glass noodles stuffed in rice paper and fried crisp and golden. You'll then prepare Pad Thai blending the vibrant flavors of Thailand with rice noodles, breast of chicken, eggs, chilies, garlic, basil, scallions, bean sprouts, and more. Enjoy Traditional Italian favorites beginning with classic panzanella, a toasted bread salad with refreshing summer vegetables in a light vinaigrette. You’ll prepare the celebrated chicken saltimbocca using thin slice prosciutto ham and fresh sage topped with a lemon caper butter sauce and pan-fried artichokes. You learn the art of potato gnocchi, shaped potato dumpling, tossed with a medley of amazing sauces including fresh basil pesto, marinara, and brown butter with sage We’ll finish with canolli, fried pastry filled with sweetened ricotta and mascarpone cheeses, served on a pool of warm chocolate sauce and garnished with chopped pistachios.
