On African American Inventors Day we will learn about different AA inventors from Augustus Jackson “The father of ice cream” to Alexander Miles the creator of the elevator! We will make our own ice cream, create elevators, roller coasters, and more! Robots are the future of technology! Learn about robots, how they work, and the incredible things they do for us. There will be a chance to make your own hexbug, drawing robot and more! Join us as we celebrate summer in the winter. We will have a beach theme day from playing beach volleyball, sand art and castles. Even an edible beach scene!

Join us for a day of learning about what lies beneath the sea. We'll be making sea globes, ocean and sand sensory stem kits, and A fun fish themed snack to enjoy and teach others. Learn about life under water while creating your very own sea crafts. Enjoy the winter weather with a walking field trip to the Central Park nature trails where we will identify different species, study animal tracks in the snow, and discover how plants and wildlife adapt to the cold season. Please be sure to dress for the weather!

Do you know that there are over 8,000 sporting games and indigenous sports worldwide? Sports day is going to be filled to the brim with playing, and learning about, different sports. We'll discover what makes a golf ball fly so far and how a basketball can be so bouncy! Students are encouraged to dress up in their favorite sports attire.
