Pose & Play: Puppy Yoga with The Mindfulness Movement
Stretch, smile, and snuggle your way through Puppy Yoga! Kids will adopt a stuffed puppy, bead a custom collar, create puppy-themed crafts, and enjoy playful yoga inspired by their furry new friend. This heartwarming workshop blends movement, mindfulness, and creativity — helping kids build confidence, kindness, and calm. Everyone will take home their new puppy and all their creations at the end of the day! Presented by The Mindfulness Movement.

Traditional French Cuisine (Participation Class)
Experience exquisite French classics starting with french onion soup topped with toasted croutons and gruyere cheese, browned to perfection, followed by “Coq au Vin”, tender breast of chicken sautéed with pearl onions, mushrooms and bacon in a rich burgundy wine sauce served with a delicious wild rice blend and green beans amandine. We’ll finish with chocolate souffle, light, yet moist with an exceptional chocolatey goodness. Served with creme anglaise, caramel, and raspberry sauce. Space may be limited, but we'll try our best to accommodate late registrations. Refund PolicyIf you need to cancel your registration, in order to receive a refund, you must notify Roseville Area Schools Community Education at least one (1) week prior to start date of the class/event/camp/activity, and that I will be issued a refund minus a $5 service charge. Registrations are not refunded in the event of a weather cancellation.

An Act of Kindness
Community and Cultural Exploration
During Random Acts of Kindness Week, students will focus on spreading positivity and building a caring community. Each day will feature small, thoughtful activities that encourage kindness toward others, themselves, and their environment. Examples include writing kind notes, helping a friend, creating thank-you cards for staff, and participating in group kindness challenges. This enrichment class is run in partnership with our school-age care program, Friendship Connection, which helps us keep costs low and offer engaging opportunities before and after school.

T-Shirt Design Lab
Special Interest
Students will create their own custom program T-shirts using fabric markers and paint. This fun activity promotes creativity, giving each student a chance to design a shirt that shows their personality and pride in the program. During Women’s History Month, students will explore and celebrate the achievements of women from around the world and throughout history. The program will include interactive activities such as reading stories about inspiring women, creating art projects or posters to honor female leaders, and participating in group discussions about the impact women have had in various fields like science, art, politics, and community service. This enrichment class is run in partnership with our school-age care program, Friendship Connection, which helps us keep costs low and offer engaging opportunities before and after school. Students participating in these classes will check in with Friendship Connection, receive a snack, and have a brief recess before class begins.

In honor of Hmong Culture Month, children will explore the beautiful traditions, language, art, and history of the Hmong people. Through engaging hands-on activities, music, food, and storytelling, students will learn about the Hmong community’s unique cultural identity and celebrate the importance of family, respect, and resilience. This lesson helps children connect culture to everyday life while promoting inclusion and pride in diversity. This enrichment class is run in partnership with our school-age care program, Friendship Connection, which helps us keep costs low and offer engaging opportunities before and after school.

On this cheerful spring-themed day, students will explore the wonders of nature by learning how plants and flowers grow. Through hands-on gardening, students will develop an understanding of the plant life cycle and the importance of caring for our environment. This lesson encourages curiosity, teamwork, and appreciation for the beauty of springtime growth. This enrichment class is run in partnership with our school-age care program, Friendship Connection, which helps us keep costs low and offer engaging opportunities before and after school. Students participating in these classes will check in with Friendship Connection, receive a snack, and have a brief recess before class begins. Each school receives one free class as part of our commitment to equity. These offerings are designed specifically to increase access for students who attend that school, especially those who may not have the financial means to participate in enrichment. To support this purpose, free classes are reserved for students enrolled at the hosting school.

In this hands-on leadership class, upper elementary students will step into the role of mentors as they plan, lead, and reflect on fun and engaging activities for younger students. Leaders in Training empowers students to lead with kindness, take initiative, and build confidence while making a positive impact in their school community.

Elementary Coding & STEM Club with CSGA
Science & Technology
This program offers a crash course in coding your own games on Scratch. Students will create and develop 3-4 basic games while learning many foundational computer science skills with boundless potential for creativity and expansion. Apply your Scratch coding skills to robotics or continue creating games. Test your robots by solving specific challenge problems generated during the program! NEW UPDATE- This program utilizes Scratch (scratch.mit.edu) for student instructional activities. The parent/guardian email address provided at registration will be used to establish and maintain the student’s Scratch account and to acknowledge Scratch’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Mindful Movement Kids Yoga Club with The Mindfulness Movement

Embark on an exciting adventure into the world of yoga and mindfulness, specially designed for kids! Through playful poses, imaginative games, and creative activities, children will build essential skills to manage stress, improve focus, and cultivate a sense of calm. Presented by The Mindfulness Movement. Each week, students will dive into a new theme using yoga poses, breathing exercises, and engaging games. From Balance Challenges and Yoga Freeze Dance to Mindful Art Activities, every session is filled with fun and discovery. Your child will even take home mindfulness journaling prompts and reflections to continue their mindfulness journey beyond class!
