In this class we will take an in-depth review of many issues (and problems) that may be faced from our parents estate plan (or lack thereof) such as: creating a difficult Probate, loss of assets to the Nursing Home, fighting amongst the children, senior care issues, guardianship, privacy, the continued life of the surviving parent, estate tax protection, fairness and equality, legacy assets and the flow of critical information between the generations. With our 30 years of experience, we will discuss actual Minnesota examples of all of the above challenges and how they can be avoided in advance with some simple planning and exchange of information. ZAPS test-preparation seminars are designed to help each student do their personal best on the ACT. In the five-hour seminar, students will learn: Strategies for using partial knowledge to eliminate wrong choices Tips for improving in all four sub tests (English, Math, Reading and Science) Tactics for using limited testing time Take shortened practice tests that mirror the actual testing experience Reduce test anxiety and gain confidence Receive a comprehensive Study Guide and 24 practice test workouts with detailed answer explanations Get suggestions for individualized study in the days leading up to the test Motivational instruction and hands-on practice will help you understand your strengths and weaknesses.

This course is for adults and teenagers ages 15+ who are first-time swimmers! These classes are designed to teach you basic swim skills, such as: breath control, submerging underwater, floats, glides, and forward movement on front and back. These classes are slower paced to help build confidence in and around water. It's never too late to start learning how to swim! *Please note that there is no possibility to pro-rate fees, switch or make-up dates*

The primary focus of the class will be on building conversational tools in Spanish through interactive practice and exercises. Learning a language is a lifelong journey and now you are on your way! Keep up the momentum in Beginner Spanish Part Two. Participants will continue with practical conversational components and builder phrases in Spanish enabling them to carry on small conversations related to giving and asking for directions and restaurant conversation. Vocabulary and grammar components will include weather, seasons, dates with months, days of the week, family vocabulary along with the verbs ser and tener conjugations. Continue building on previous Spanish skills to further develop conversational abilities in the language which will include expressing recommendations and comparisons. Real life scenarios will be introduced and role played in Spanish to ensure a dynamic and interactive learning environment. Intermediate Spanish is specifically designed for the adult learner who has taken some Spanish in the past but wishes to improve conversational skills. Grammar and vocabulary concepts will include present tense AR verb conjugation, infinitive verbs, future tense with the verb IR, adverbs of frequency, useful prepositions, and more. Participants will practice conversation skills including learning how to make plans and discussing preferences in Spanish. Culture discussions will cover holiday traditions and celebrations in Spanish speaking countries. Your instructor will guide you step by step as you make a 5” x 7” painting in your choice of colors. If time allows, you can create a second piece on either a white or black background. Have you ever wanted to try your hand at Abstract Art that is fun and Colorful? Alcohol Ink (AI) is a new painting technique that just screams ABSTRACT. With so many different techniques, AI will soon become a favorite medium. To make hydrangeas, you will paint using a silicone tool and AI in a palette. First, you will outline your hydrangeas to form the base. Then you will fill in the petals of each flower highlighting with white alcohol ink to create depth. To finish your painting, you will add flowing stems/leaves. Your instructor will help guide you through each step. You will have the opportunity to paint hydrangeas on a white or black background. If time permits, you can paint a second picture on the opposite color. Best part of using Alcohol Ink is if you don’t like a part of your picture, you can wipe it off with ISO alcohol. Have you ever wanted to try your hand at Abstract Art that is fun and Colorful? Alcohol Ink (AI) is a new painting technique that just screams ABSTRACT. First you will create a sky using alcohol ink. Next, you will create a valley using multiple green colors using a brush. Your background is now complete. The best part will be applying different colors to make your flowers. You will soon have a beautiful valley of flowers. Best part – if you don’t like a part of your picture, you can wipe it off with ISO alcohol.
