Felted Vases, Vessels, and Bowls
Learn the fascinating art of seamless wet felting. Using wool and a variety of other natural fibers, felt a small vessel to hold trinkets, chocolates or to simply brighten up any shelf. Choose bright or natural colors, then “sculpt” your vessel into any shape from organic to contemporary. You can even make it reversible. Please note: some physical stamina need for felting classes. $25 supply fee, payable to instructor, includes a reusable felting kit and all fibers and supplies. Bring from home: 2-3 hand towels, 1 old bath towel and a plastic bag to carry home wet items. Optional: apron, bag lunch. Registration for all class sessions closes 3 days before the start date.Late Registration: If you miss the deadline but are still interested, you can contact the Community Ed office by emailing us at CommunityEd@isd623.org or calling: 651-604-3770. Space may be limited, but we'll try our best to accommodate late registrations.

Roseville Dance Team Kids Clinic
Come dance with the Roseville Dance Team! Open to boys and girls ages 3 -12. Come learn new dance skills and two fun routines in which you will perform alongside RDT in our annual winter show. Participants will be provided snack/lunch during the clinic as well as a t-shirt that they can keep and will wear for the winter show performance. Check in 10-10:30am at RAHS lower gym lobby, Clinic starts at 10:30am-12:30pm. Participants will stay with the dance team, then perform in the Roseville Dance Team Winter Show of which doors open at 12:30pm and the show begins at 1:00pm. The show should last 90-120 minutes.**PLEASE NOTE: All Registrations after 1/9 will not receive a T-Shirt

This course is for adults and teenagers ages 15+ who are first-time swimmers! These classes are designed to teach you basic swim skills, such as: breath control, submerging underwater, floats, glides, and forward movement on front and back. These classes are slower paced to help build confidence in and around water. It's never too late to start learning how to swim!

This course is for adults and teenagers ages 15+ who are comfortable in the water and ready to start perfecting stroke technique! The class is designed to help participants understand the mechanics of swimming by working on kicking efficiency, freestyle pull technique, backstroke, and breaststroke. Instructors will offer drills and specific feedback to each participant on a range of technical skills.

These aquatics sessions are designed for children ages 9 months to 5 years old! Children are accompanied by a parent or adult in the pool as they learn to enjoy and explore the water. Promoting water safety from a young age will help to keep your child safe as they become more self-confident and believe in their abilities. The pool can also provide a lot of entertainment and enjoyment for young ones! Please note: A minimum of one adult per child is required to be in the water.

Water Exercise
Disco Splash! is back! Dance your heart out with our fun, high intensity aerobics class! Participants will do a combination of dance and water exercise while utilizing both shallow and deep water. Participants must pre-register online/over the phone or at the door This is a high impact exercise class that will have loud music playing in the background. Course is not recommended for those with limited mobility or joint issues and participants must be able to maintain balance without assistance for the duration of class.

Water Exercise
This course offers a unique blend of stretching and relaxation techniques within the soothing environment of water. Designed for all fitness levels, participants will engage in gentle stretching exercises and deep-breathing practices while floating or moving through the water. By combining the benefits of water resistance with mindful movements, you will enjoy the revitalizing experience of this class! Participants must pre-register online/over the phone or pay cash at the door. Participants must also be able to maintain balance without assistance for the duration of class.

Join us for Open Swim or Lap Swim in our pool at Aŋpétu Téča Education Center! One session: $8 Five sessions: $35 Register and pay online or register and pay at the front desk at Aŋpétu Téča Education Center. Unused passes from the previous season are still valid. For any session that starts after 4:00pm or is on weekends, you must pay in advance and show confirmation at check in or pay in cash. We cannot accept credit cards during that time period. Please view our pool guidelines and safety regulations on the Aquatics FAQ page before using our facilities. One adult for every two children 14 years and younger must be present with them during swim times. Children left unattended will not be allowed to swim. The pool will be closed after 11:30 on January 24. The pool is closed January 20. There will not be lap swim or open swim on those dates. Hours are subject to change depending on staff availability.

Pool Birthday Party Packages at Aŋpétu Téča Education Center

Host your child's next birthday party with us at Aŋpétu Téča Education Center! Your party will have access to the new Aŋpétu Téča Education Center pool and one community room for gifts and cake. Let's get this party started! $350 Pool Package: Up to 15 kids (Adult/parent supervision is required at all times) There must be at least 2 adults in the water for every 15 kids ages 9+ There must be 1 adult for every 2 kids ages 8 and under No additional costs for adults that are needed in the pool All swimmers must adhere to all pool guidelines and follow any direction given by the lifeguards on duty Tables and chairs will be provided by us Some toys/floats are available for use Your party will get exclusive access to our heated pool for up to 2 hours and have 3 hours in the community room for presents, cake, and celebration! Triathlon Swimming
Adult Lessons
Are you a runner or cyclist that is ready to take the plunge to do a triathlon but aren't super confident in your swim skills? Join us for a 6 week course that is designed to help adults, who are wanting to participate in a triathlon, gain the skills they need to do so successfully! Participants will learn appropriate breathing, kicking, and swim strokes for triathlon swimming. The course will also cover building endurance, equipment, pre-race warm up, water entry, sighting, drafting, and transitions. The course is taught by Julie Schneider, an experienced seven-time triathlete who began her swimming and biking adventures as an adult. She wants to encourage more middle-aged adults to get active and to participate in triathlons and other sporting events. Her knowledge has come mostly from experience over the years, supplemented by courses and seminars. Disclaimer: Participants must be confidant in the water and have the ability to do basic swim skills (floats, front crawl stroke, flutter kick).
