Learn How to Play Mah Jongg - Beginner II
Picking out a hand is one of the biggest challenges a new player faces when playing Mah Jongg. This class will focus on strategies on how to pick out a hand and 'punting' (changing hands mid-game) when playing Mah Jongg using the current NMJL card. Students provide their own 2025 NMJL card. Learning materials will be provided. Prerequisite: Completion of Learn to Play Mah Jongg Beg I or similar course. Registration for all class sessions closes 3 days before the start date.Late Registration: If you miss the deadline but are still interested, you can contact the Community Ed office by emailing us at CommunityEd@isd623.org or calling: 651-604-3770. Space may be limited, but we'll try our best to accommodate late registrations.Refund PolicyIf you need to cancel your registration, in order to receive a refund, you must notify Roseville Area Schools Community Education at least one (1) week prior to start date of the class/event/camp/activity, and that I will be issued a refund minus a $5 service charge. Registrations are not refunded in the event of a weather cancellation.

Fall Theater Club with Character Kids Drama
Sing! Dance! Act! Join us right after school as we play theater games, learn music and choreography from musicals, and act out a short script. Each session will feature new material, so new and returning students are welcome. Through the performing arts, students will develop imagination, social skills, and a positive self-image. Families are invited to a showcase on the last day of class!

Birthday Party Packages at Aŋpétu Téča Education Center
Special Interest
Host your child's next birthday party with us at Aŋpétu Téča Education Center! Your party will have access to the new Aŋpétu Téča Education Center gymnasium and one community room for gifts and cake. Let's get this party started! If you have any questions before reserving your package, feel free to call or email us! $225 Package: Have up to 20 guests! (Adult/parent supervision is required at all times.) Your party will have access to a private community room rental for presents, cake, and celebration! Tables and chairs will be provided by us. Your party will get exclusive access to our gymnasium for up to 3 hours, including set-up time! Choose from basketballs, dodgeballs, soccer balls, or hula hoops/jump ropes for your party to play with! For an extra fee, you can add on: $100 for an extra hour of party time. $25 for additional equipment rental. To complete your registration, please contact our registration desk at 651-604-3770. Please reach out to schedule birthday parties by the 15th of the month prior in order to help us ensure staffing for your event date and determine if there are any scheduling conflicts. Example: For a February 8th party, please schedule with us by January 15th. You can still request a party after that timeline, but please know that availability may be more limited.

Calling all Pokémon trainers! From making Poké Balls and Pikachu masks to designing their own Pokémon cards and creature-inspired keychains, campers will dive into the world of Pokémon with imagination and flair during this 2 day camp. Whether you're a longtime fan or new to the adventure, you'll have fun crafting, sharing, and showing off your unique Pokémon creations!

Whether you’re making art, baking sweet treats, or building something amazing, each session invites you to laugh, learn, and create memories side by side. Perfect for children ages 3–8 and their grandparent(s) or a special older adult. Hooked! Crochet for Beginners

Learn the loops and stitches of crochet! Over seven weeks, students will learn the most common crochet stitches, working toward making colorful granny squares. By the end of camp, they’ll have the skills and confidence to begin working on their own projects. No knowledge of crochet is required for this 7 week program.

Hooked! Crochet for Beginners 2.0
Special Interest
Turn stitches into characters and creations! Students will use their crochet knowledge gained in the previous class to create adorable amigurumi animals and figures while learning new stitch techniques. This camp is perfect for continuing to build crochet skills and confidence. Students signing up for this program must know how to single and double crochet.

Safety & Self-Defense Camp
Special Interest
Safety is about the situation, self-awareness and self-defense. Learn the fundamentals, effective responses to practical situations, and experience hands-on exercises.
