We’ll demystify knits and eliminate frustrations and sew a garment of your choice in class that you’ll wear with pride. Students should be comfortable with machine sewing and familiar working with and reading patterns. Week 1, bring sewing machine and basic supplies. Mary started sewing from store bought patterns in 1999 and almost immediately began adapting them to fit her wants and ideas for how they should be. She kept that passion for designing and working with her hands and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Clothing Design. Mary enjoys making and creating all types of things and continues to design and create clothing and accessories and has participated in several art and craft fairs and fashion shows.
