This course focuses on water skills for children ages 3 to 5 that are ready to swim on their own! Students will build on their water skills and grow their independence. Promoting water safety from a young age will help to keep your child safe as they become more self-confident and believe in their abilities. Skills taught: Enter & Exit water from side Blow bubbles with nose (humming) Bobbing Front float for 3+ seconds Back float for 3+ seconds Jelly fish float for 3+ seconds Roll from back to front Roll from front to back Front glide (one body length) Back glide (one body length) “Scooping” and kicking on front 5 feet Flutter kicking on back 5 feet Elementary backstroke arms 5 feet (w/ support) Swim, Float, Swim 10 feet (w/ support) Jump in (w/ support) Follows Directions Water Safety Skills Note: Students who are still working on potty training MUST wear appropriate swim diapers and plastic covers. Students will be turned away if not wearing the appropriate swim diapers/covers.

Youth Lessons
These aquatics sessions are designed for children ages 9 months to 5 years old! Children are accompanied by a parent or adult in the pool as they learn to enjoy and explore the water. Promoting water safety from a young age will help to keep your child safe as they become more self-confident and believe in their abilities. The pool can also provide a lot of entertainment and enjoyment for young ones! Please note: A minimum of one adult per child is required to be in the water.

Water Exercise
This is a low-impact, extremely light aerobic workout in shallow water that focuses on stretching and toning muscles while utilizing the resistance of the water and equipment. Participants must be able to maintain balance without assistance for the duration of class. Now accepting Silver Sneakers & Renew Active!

Competitive Swim Camp

The Roseville Competitive Summer Swim Camp is designed for students grades 6th-12th who have competitive swim experience. Swimming experience may be from being on the Roseville High School Swim team or another program like a club swim team or the YMCA swim team. Every 1.5 hour practice includes 30 minutes of "dryland" and one hour in the pool. Dryland workouts focus on flexibility, strength and overall athleticism, while swim workouts will focus on endurance, technique and swimming speed. Participants should, at a minimum, be able to complete 100 yards of swimming in two minutes without a break and be able to do land activities like running, jumping, pushups and situps safely. These sessions are a perfect opportunity for competitive swimmers who want to begin the high school season in shape or to bridge the gap between spring and fall sports. Swim Camp will be coached by Michael Richards, RAHS Boys Swimming and Diving Head Coach and Joe Anderson, RAHS Girls Swimming and Diving Head Coach. June Session July Session Early Bird Price - $195 (Ends May 10th) Early Bird Price - $220 (Ends June 7th) Regular Price - $220 Regular Price - $250 There is no possibility to pro-rate fees, switch or make-up dates. Students must be registered prior to arriving on the pool deck, payment and registration will not be accepted on the Parkview pool deck or at Parkview Center School.

Water Exercise
Dance your heart out with our new high intensity aerobics class! This is a combination of different dance styles and water exercise to help burn off calories to different themed days. This is a higher impact exercise class that will have loud music playing in the background. Participants must be able to maintain balance without assistance for the duration of class. Course is not recommended for those with limited mobility or joint issues. Participants must pre-register online/over the phone or pay cash at the door.

Open & Lap Swim
Join us for Open Swim or Lap Swim in our pool at Aŋpétu Téča Education Center! One session: $8 Five sessions: $35 Register and pay online or register and pay at the front desk at Aŋpétu Téča Education Center. Unused passes from the previous season are still valid. *For any session that starts after 4:00pm or is on weekends, you must pay in advance and show confirmation at check in or pay in cash. We cannot accept credit cards during that time period. Please view our pool guidelines and safety regulations on the Aquatics FAQ page before using our facilities. One adult for every two children 14 years and younger must be present with them during swim times. Children left unattended will not be allowed to swim. Spring 2024 Hours (Through May 31, 2024): Lap Swim Open Swim Open Swim - Adults Only Mondays 11:00am - 12:30pm 9:00 - 10:45am, 1:00 - 2:45pm ------- Tuesdays 7:45 - 9:00am, 12:15 - 2:00pm 9:30 - 10:45am 6:45 - 8:00pm* Wednesdays 11:00am - 12:30pm 1:00 - 2:45pm ------- Thursdays 7:45 - 9:00am, 12:15 - 2:00pm 6:45 - 8:00pm 9:30 - 10:45am Fridays 11:00am - 12:30pm 9:00 - 10:45am, 2:00 - 4:00pm ------- The pool will be closed after 6:00pm on April 10. The pool will be closed on May 27, June 19, July 4 and 5. There will not be lap swim or open swim on those dates.

Kick-start your summer by celebrating the end of the school year and making a splash in our pool! Come enjoy a family friendly pool party with fun beach tunes and good vibes. Grab your towel and some friends to ring in summer vacation! Choose the time slot that works best for you and your group! Price Entry - $8 Party Pack! - $15 Includes entry plus a water-themed goodie bag with goggles, toys and more! *All participants must pre register by 3pm on Friday June 7th. We are NOT allowing drop-ins for this event. Please be advised that our pool policy prohibits parents from dropping off children and we kindly request that parents remain on-site. Child Supervision Expectations are below. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Pool Expectations: No one will be allowed in the swimming area unless the pool is officially open, and a lifeguard is on duty. Swimming without a Ready-To-Rescue Lifeguard present on deck is prohibited. Running, rough play, dunking, wrestling, or other improper conduct causing undue disturbances on or about the pool area or any acts which would endanger any patron are prohibited. No prolonged underwater swimming for time and/or distance. Competitive and/or repetitive breath holding can be deadly and is not permitted. Hyperventilation is absolutely not permitted. To ensure safety, check with the lifeguard before entering the pool with floatation devices. Swimmers MUST take a shower (with soap) before entering the pool. Swimmers must wear appropriate swimsuits. Jewelry, street shoes, street clothes, gym shorts, cut offs and underwear are not permitted in the pool. Clean t-shirts may be worn for modesty or medical reasons but first must be sanctioned by the Pool Manager. Children not potty-trained MUST wear a swim diaper or plastic, leak-proof pants while in the pool. Persons with a contagious disease, open sores, infectious conditions are prohibited from swimming. Any person who has or has had diarrhea in the past two weeks, please do not use the pool. No gum, food or drink allowed in the pool. No glass of any kind is allowed. No smoking or alcohol is allowed. Individuals under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not permitted. No running on pool deck. No diving from the side of the pool . This is a family friendly facility, please no intimate contact. Abusive, foul or racial remarks are prohibited. Child Supervision Expectations: All children 14 and under MUST check in with the Lifeguard prior to getting into the pool. An adult must be present in the pool area for all children age 12 and under. There must be at least 1 adult in the pool area for every 2 children under age 9. An adult must be present in the building for all children age 14 and under. Children 5 and under must be within arms reach of their adult at all times. Children 14 and under must check in with a lifeguard prior to entering the pool. Children in swim diapers must wear a plastic diaper cover in pool. Items Allowed in the Pool: Lifejackets, pool noodles, puddle jumpers (non-inflatable). Plastic/metal water bottles (no glass). Small pool/bath toys. Shower/pool shoes. Towels. Please store any other personal items in the lockers. Lifeguards have the authority to enforce all pool rules and can ask you to leave if engaging in reckless behavior.

T.A.B.A.T.A Fitness
Water Exercise
This water aerobics class combines music and movement to facilitate movement in the deep and shallow areas of the pool. It is designed to improve your range of motion, flexibility, strength and tone of muscles. The use of T.A.B.A.T.A. (high intensity physical training) sessions during class improves cardiovascular endurance.
