In this hands-on activity, you’ll learn to make a delicious curry while exploring the rich traditions, vibrant spices, and cultural stories behind one of India’s most iconic dishes. Come curious, leave full—of both knowledge and amazing food!

Pour painting is a fluid painting technique that uses acrylic paint as a pouring medium! You will use the mixed color solution to create art by pouring it onto a surface in a variety of ways.

We're exploring the idea of bringing a fun, in-house yoga experience to our space! Think easygoing sessions filled with movement, mindfulness, and positive vibes—right where you already are. Do you love colorful mushrooms, fairies, and woodland creatures? Join us for a celebration of cottagecore as we explore a process- based art project with cozy fall vibes each week! DASH Sports Lacrosse camps provide participants an introductory experience to the game. Athletes will learn basic lacrosse fundamentals including stick handling, cradling, passing, and shooting, all in a fun, non-checking environment. This is a non-contact camp, helmets and gloves are not required but can be brought with and worn. Sticks and balls are provided.

DASH Sports Multi-Sport camp includes fun skills training and games in three sports: Soccer, Flag Football, and Basketball. Campers come out of this camp with a great understanding of key skill components and gameplay of each sport. Athletes should bring a water bottle and athletic shoes and clothing. Balls and all other equipment are provided.

Join us for a fun and hands-on week in the Air-Dry Clay Club, where students will explore the art of sculpting and building with clay! Each day offers a new creative project from animal figures and pinch pots to nature prints and imaginative creatures. Students will learn basic clay techniques, express their creativity, and make unique masterpieces they can proudly take home. No kilns needed! just imagination, fun, and clay-covered hands!

Unleash your imagination through this hands-on art class combining the best of two creative worlds—painting on canvas and sculpting with clay!

Celebrate the colors of fall with apple printing! In this fun and creative art activity, students will cut apples in half and use them as stamps to create beautiful, textured prints on paper. After dipping the apple halves in paint and stamping their designs, they’ll add stems and leaves to complete their fall-themed masterpieces.

Pack your (pretend) bags and get ready for a globe-trotting journey! In this exciting adventure, students will explore cultures, languages, and traditions from around the world. Each week, we’ll "visit" a new country and discover what makes it unique through interactive activities and creative projects. From tasting new flavors to stepping into global traditions, this experience offers a fun and enriching way to connect with the world.

Join us for a globe-trotting adventure without ever leaving St. Paul! On our "Around the World at the Zoo" day, students will explore the incredible diversity of animals from across the continents right at Como Zoo. As young explorers, students will "travel" to different regions of the world—Africa, Asia, South America, the Arctic, and beyond—visiting animals native to each environment and learning how their unique habitats shape their survival.

Calling all young artists and storytellers! In this hands-on class, kids will explore the magical world of puppetry through art. They’ll design, build and bring their own puppets to life using a variety of materials.

Host your child's next birthday party with us at Aŋpétu Téča Education Center! Your party will have access to the new Aŋpétu Téča Education Center gymnasium and one community room for gifts and cake. Let's get this party started! If you have any questions before reserving your package, feel free to call or email us! $225 Package: Have up to 20 guests! (Adult/parent supervision is required at all times.) Your party will have access to a private community room rental for presents, cake, and celebration! Tables and chairs will be provided by us. Your party will get exclusive access to our gymnasium for up to 3 hours, including set-up time! Choose from basketballs, dodgeballs, soccer balls, or hula hoops/jump ropes for your party to play with! For an extra fee, you can add on: $100 for an extra hour of party time. $25 for additional equipment rental. To complete your registration, please contact our registration desk at 651-604-3770. Please reach out to schedule birthday parties by the 15th of the month prior in order to help us ensure staffing for your event date and determine if there are any scheduling conflicts. Unleash your inner artist and create a beautiful Boho-inspired acrylic painting! An aesthetic art that mixes different cultures and artistic expression into organic elements and nature with intricate patterns. Whether you're inspired by nature, mandalas or dreamcatchers this workshop will help bring your vision to life!

Grow your creativity one bead at a time! Students will twist wire and colorful beads into intricate miniature trees that shimmer in the light. These unique sculptures make perfect room décor or heartfelt gifts.

Omelets, french toast, muffins, burritos…. breakfast can be the yummiest meal of the day! Learn how to make easy breakfast dishes to share with your family. By the end of the week participants will have gained some culinary skills and tasted some delicious dishes!

Bring your art to light! Students will follow a Turkish design to decorate a mosaic lamp using colorful tiles, glass pieces, and adhesive techniques. Once lit, their lamp will glow beautifully, making it the perfect display piece for home.

Step into the sweet world of Candyology! This exciting STEAM adventure combines science, creativity, and hands-on fun with a sugary twist. Kids will design and build candy machines, craft vibrant candy fish aquariums, and engineer thrilling candy rollercoasters. It’s a delicious mix of learning, building, and tasting that turns candy into an unforgettable educational experience!

Step into the world of digital creativity with Canva, a powerful and user-friendly graphic design platform! In this hands-on course, students will explore the fundamentals of graphic design and visual storytelling.Through guided projects and creative freedom, they'll learn how to design eye-catching digital cards, posters, presentations, and short videos.

Let's see what we can make with cardboard! Giant mazes, castles, games, or something the world has never seen before- it's up to you. Come see how versatile this everyday material really is as we get creative with cardboard! In this eco-friendly course, students will explore the importance of recycling and sustainability while using cardboard and other recyclable materials to bring their creative visions to life. From imaginative sculptures to functional inventions, each student will design and build a one-of-a-kind cardboard masterpiece.

This fall, children will take part in a meaningful hands-on activity that weaves together both creativity and culture. Using cardboard looms and colorful yarn, they’ll learn basic weaving techniques inspired by textile traditions from around the world from Indigenous North American patterns to vibrant Latin American designs. As they create their own woven pieces, children will also discover the cultural stories behind this timeless art form, making it a rich and reflective way to celebrate both fall and global traditions.

Make art you can carry! Students will paint bold and colorful designs on fabric tote bags, learning how to work with acrylic paint and brushes. They’ll leave with a functional piece of art they can use every day.
