School age child care located in all the district elementary schools.
Experience the beauty of nature and engage in environmental education at Dodge. In small groups, students will build survival shelters and learn about fire-building in the outdoors. Practice teamwork and problem-solving to learn about surviving in the wilderness. We will also get a very close look at the life cycle of chickens on our farm. Tour the coop, hold a chicken, check for eggs and see the free range flock as the roosters crow all the while.
This enrichment class is run in partnership with our school-age care program, Friendship Connection, which helps us keep costs low and offer engaging opportunities before school, after school and on non-school days.
To ensure classes run as scheduled, registration for all Youth Enrichment programs will close the Wednesday before the start date. Be sure to register early to reserve your spot!
Late Registration: If you miss the deadline but are still interested, you can contact the Community Ed office by emailing us at CommunityEd@isd623.org or calling: 651-604-3770. Space may be limited, but we'll try our best to accommodate late registrations.
