In this 1-day session, we will go over some of the basic signs for communicating in American Sign Language. We will work on numbers, letters, simple questions, and introducing ourselves. This session will include discussion-based learning and collective practice. All grade and experience levels are welcome to join.

In this camp we will learn all about Martin Luther King Jr the great civil rights leader and his legacy. After we will create an MLK Mural to hang up for all to see in our school!

Join us for creative blanket making! We will give our blankets to someone special in our community as an act of service and kindness and to show appreciation to them.

Brighten someones day by making them a surprise card! We will learn how to make cards and give them out to our community at Central Park and beyond!

Go back to Indigenous and Pioneer days with cornhusk dolls. Learn about the rich history and cultural significance of these charming dolls. Master the technique of wrapping corn husks to form a doll. Learn how to dress your doll with husks and other materials. Give each of your dolls personality by adding distinct characteristics and different hairstyles with corn silk.

Get ready to embark on a journey of positivity and fun at our Gratitude is the Attitude! Learn about appreciation and joy as you participate in gratitude activities, make new friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime. We will be making things to share with others in our life.

Welcome to the night life, where lights will be lit on all of our activities! We will be making lanterns and clay candles while learn about the reasons behind their significance in different countries.

It’s a new calendar year, and we want to welcome the idea of new beginnings. Look to the future with goal-setting and writing letters to your future self, and celebrate making it through another year with some DIY noise-makers and DIY confetti poppers. End the morning with a dance party, karaoke, and a grape juice toast!

It is the time of year for celebrating those who have passed. In the 4-day camp, students will get to learn about the tradition of Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. Activities throughout the week will be based on the Disney movie Coco! Such activities include making ofrendas and sugar skulls, making our own mini alebrijes (spirit guide creatures), and watching the film.

Take this time to reflect about a moment someone did something important for you. Now you can pay back the favor– burger style! Opening a burger box and finding an appreciation craft would make anyone’s day better! Rally up an appetite, creativity, and some deep empathy, and join us in making a surprise burger gift for a loved one!
