Students will learn: Enter & Exit water from side Blow bubbles for 5+ seconds Bob 5 times Look at objects under water Front float for 5+ seconds (w/ support) Back float for 5+ seconds (w/ support) Roll from back to front (w/ support) Roll from front to back (w/ support) Front glide (w/ support) Back glide (w/ support) Scooping and kicking on front 5 feet (w/ support) Flutter kicking on back 5 feet (w/ support) Swim, Float, Swim 10 feet (w/ support) Jump in (w/ support) Treading motions 5+ seconds (w/ support) Forward movement 5 feet (front or back) Water Safety Skills Parents MUST remain in the building during lessons and should stay within eyesight of the pool for quick contact if needed

Go back to Indigenous and Pioneer days with cornhusk dolls. Learn about the rich history and cultural significance of these charming dolls. Master the technique of wrapping corn husks to form a doll. Learn how to dress your doll with husks and other materials. Give each of your dolls personality by adding distinct characteristics and different hairstyles with corn silk.

Remember Me Camp

It is the time of year for celebrating those who have passed. In the 4-day camp, students will get to learn about the tradition of Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. Activities throughout the week will be based on the Disney movie Coco! Such activities include making ofrendas and sugar skulls, making our own mini alebrijes (spirit guide creatures), and watching the film.
