Join us as we explore the rich and vibrant Hmong culture and language! In this bilingual summer camp, students will be introduced to Hmong culture and language through discovering the beauty of traditional Hmong clothing, experiencing the sounds of Hmong instruments, and learning about delicious Hmong foods. This camp will be packed with fun and engaging hands-on activities, including songs, stories and games! This camp is appropriate for young learners aged 4-6 of all backgrounds and any level of Hmong language to come and celebrate the beauty of Hmong culture and language.
Julie Thao is an early childhood educator who brings creativity, cultural pride, and early learning expertise to our “All About Hmong” summer camp. Her passion for preserving and celebrating the Hmong culture and language is the heart of this year’s summer camp. You may also know Julie as Ms. Julie of HmongBaby, where she creates online content introducing Hmong language through songs and stories.
