Spice up your day with a flavorful journey through Indian culture! In this hands-on activity, you’ll learn to make a delicious curry while exploring the rich traditions, vibrant spices, and cultural stories behind one of India’s most iconic dishes. Come curious, leave full—of both knowledge and amazing food!

ZAPS test-preparation seminars are designed to help each student do their personal best on the ACT. In the five-hour seminar, students will learn: Strategies for using partial knowledge to eliminate wrong choices Tips for improving in all four sub tests (English, Math, Reading and Science) Tactics for using limited testing time Take shortened practice tests that mirror the actual testing experience Reduce test anxiety and gain confidence Receive a comprehensive Study Guide and 24 practice test workouts with detailed answer explanations Get suggestions for individualized study in the days leading up to the test Motivational instruction and hands-on practice will help you understand your strengths and weaknesses.

Grow your creativity one bead at a time! Students will twist wire and colorful beads into intricate miniature trees that shimmer in the light. These unique sculptures make perfect room décor or heartfelt gifts.

Omelets, french toast, muffins, burritos…. breakfast can be the yummiest meal of the day! Learn how to make easy breakfast dishes to share with your family. By the end of the week participants will have gained some culinary skills and tasted some delicious dishes!

Students will get to test and taste different baking recipes of cakes and observe the differences between them. This fun, tasty take on a measurable science experiment will leave students wanting more as we explore how different ingredients and their amounts impact the texture, density, and taste of a cake. We’ll also experiment with cooking methods, including air fryer cakes, toaster oven cakes, and microwave cakes. Please identify any food allergies or restrictions at the start of class or upon registration. This enrichment class is run in partnership with our school-age care program, Friendship Connection, which helps us keep costs low and offer engaging opportunities before and after school. Students participating in these classes will check in with Friendship Connection, receive a snack, and have a brief recess before class begins.

Step into the sweet world of Candyology! This exciting STEAM adventure combines science, creativity, and hands-on fun with a sugary twist. Kids will design and build candy machines, craft vibrant candy fish aquariums, and engineer thrilling candy rollercoasters. It’s a delicious mix of learning, building, and tasting that turns candy into an unforgettable educational experience!

In this eco-friendly course, students will explore the importance of recycling and sustainability while using cardboard and other recyclable materials to bring their creative visions to life. From imaginative sculptures to functional inventions, each student will design and build a one-of-a-kind cardboard masterpiece.

Travel the world through taste! In this hands-on cooking class, kids will explore delicious recipes from different cultures, learning about traditions, ingredients, and cooking methods along the way. Each session features a new culture to discover as we prepare simple, tasty dishes together. It’s a fun and flavorful way to celebrate diversity and build kitchen skills!

Squeeze away stress and feel calm anytime! In this hands-on wellness activity, students will create their own squishy stress balls using simple materials like flour, rice, or play dough. These stress balls are great tools for calming down, focusing, or managing big emotions—and they’re fun to make too!

Embark on an adventure of epic proportions in a snowy, mystical realm! In this imaginative and interactive course, students will create their very own Dungeons & Dragons character. Once their heroes are ready, they’ll dive into a frosty-themed campaign filled with magical creatures, ancient secrets, and daring challenges. No prior D&D experience needed, just a vivid imagination and a spirit for adventure!

Are you ready to get your groove on? Our Dance Party is all about getting active, shaking off stress, and celebrating the joy of movement. Students will groove to fun, age-appropriate music while building coordination, confidence, and a sense of community

Online Virtual Class: Join us on an epic adventure for all ages and experience levels. D&D is a timeless role-playing game that helps kids develop math, storytelling, and collaboration skills. Work in small groups of 4-7 students to complete this one-shot campaign! Home Technical Requirements: Computer: PC (Windows 10 or later) or Mac (OSX) with at least a 2GHz processor and 4GB of RAM Chromebooks, Tablets, and phones DO NOT Work. In this hands-on leadership class, upper elementary students will step into the role of mentors as they plan, lead, and reflect on fun and engaging activities for younger students. Leaders in Training empowers students to lead with kindness, take initiative, and build confidence while making a positive impact in their school community.

Transform paper into something special! Students will explore folding, cutting, and embellishing techniques to create cards for every occasion. By the end, they’ll have a beautiful collection of handmade cards ready to share with friends and family.

Host your child's next birthday party with us at Aŋpétu Téča Education Center! Your party will have access to the new Aŋpétu Téča Education Center gymnasium and one community room for gifts and cake. Let's get this party started! If you have any questions before reserving your package, feel free to call or email us! $225 Package: Have up to 20 guests! (Adult/parent supervision is required at all times.) Your party will have access to a private community room rental for presents, cake, and celebration! Tables and chairs will be provided by us. Your party will get exclusive access to our gymnasium for up to 3 hours, including set-up time! Choose from basketballs, dodgeballs, soccer balls, or hula hoops/jump ropes for your party to play with! For an extra fee, you can add on: $100 for an extra hour of party time. $25 for additional equipment rental. To complete your registration, please contact our registration desk at 651-604-3770. Learn the basics of healthy eating and how to make smart food choices. This class encourages curiosity in the kitchen, teamwork, and lifelong habits for healthy living. No prior cooking experience needed—just a love for food and fun!

In this week-long “Me Days!” club, students will focus on their own health and wellness through fun, calming, and energizing activities. Each day promotes self-care and balance with experiences like music yoga, hydration stations, and mindful listening walks both inside and outside the school. This wellness-focused week helps students build healthy habits, improve self-awareness, and take time to care for their minds and bodies in a supportive, engaging environment.

A Mandala Coasters class focuses on creating intricate and artistic designs inspired by the traditional mandala patterns, commonly representing harmony and balance. Participants will learn how to draw or paint mandala patterns, often starting from a central point and expanding outwards with geometric shapes and symbols. Test your driving skills, tweak your car for speed and precision, and see who can master the ultimate course. It’s teamwork, tinkering, and turbo-charged fun all in one! This enrichment class is run in partnership with our school-age care program, Friendship Connection, which helps us keep costs low and offer engaging opportunities before and after school. Online Virtual Class: Collaborate with fellow students to construct a city! Students will be sent their completed world files after class. Beginners and experienced Minecrafters alike will love this action-packed camp. We will be using Minecraft Java edition. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios. Whether you go bold and dramatic or sleek and stylish, your masterpiece will be one-of-a-kind—just like you!

Dive into a week of underwater adventure! In this exciting ocean-themed club, students will explore the wonders of the sea through hands-on experiments, creative art projects, and fun-filled activities. Throughout the week, they'll engage in exciting projects such as Ocean Zones in a Jar, ocean-themed mandalas, and building a coral reef model. These are just a few of the many activities planned.
