Learn fun moves and simple tips from a pro to ease you into dancing. A little bit of Swing, a touch of Foxtrot, a smattering of Waltz, a tweak of Rumba, and a jazzed up "high school prom Swing & Sway" are all it takes to get you on the dance floor!

In this class we will take an in-depth review of many issues (and problems) that may be faced from our parents estate plan (or lack thereof) such as: creating a difficult Probate, loss of assets to the Nursing Home, fighting amongst the children, senior care issues, guardianship, privacy, the continued life of the surviving parent, estate tax protection, fairness and equality, legacy assets and the flow of critical information between the generations. With our 30 years of experience, we will discuss actual Minnesota examples of all of the above challenges and how they can be avoided in advance with some simple planning and exchange of information. This class is designed for gardeners who have experience growing vegetables. Learn some of the advanced techniques to take your vegetable garden to the next level by improving your growing conditions, extending the growing season, and increasing your total harvest.

Using an Air Fryer to cook vegetables is quick—and the healthy results are delicious! In this live online class Kirsten will demonstrate a variety of recipes using in-season local and/or commonly available vegetables including Lemon Pepper Broccoli, Miso Sesame Kale Chips, and Roasted Sweet Potatoes. Participants will receive an extensive handout along with the link to join prior to class. There will be ample time for questions during the session, and participants will receive a link to the recording afterwards so you can cook along at your convenience. THREE OPTIONS AVAILABLE: CPR/AED Only (9:00 AM - 11:30 AM): This CPR/AED class gives individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for breathing and cardiac emergencies until advanced medical personnel arrive. This American Heart Association course certifies individuals in CPR/AED for adults, children and infants is nationally recognized and valid for two years. First Aid Only (11:30 AM - 2:30 PM): First Aid covers any emergency that does not require the use of CPR. Topics covered in this American Heart Association course include recognition and treatment for heart attacks, stroke, diabetic emergencies, allergic reactions as well as first aid treatments to wounds, fractures, burns and other common injuries. CPR/AED/First Aid (9:00 AM - 2:30 PM): This class combines CPR, AED and First Aid Training into one convenient session. Lay Responder CPR/AED with First Aid teaches the skills necessary to recognize and provide immediate care for breathing problems, cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until medical personnel arrive. Participants will be certified by the American Heart Association for: Standard First Aid and CPR/AED for adults, children and infants. This course meets the Rule 2 and 3 requirements for childcare providers. Intended Audience: Teachers, Daycare Providers, Coaches, Office Workers, new parents, or anyone who wants or needs to learn the life-saving skills of CPR and are not a healthcare professional (healthcare professionals are required to take the more advanced BLS Healthcare Provider CPR course). This class is an extension of Beginning Watercolor I. In this class you will continue with beginning watercolor exercises that were learned in the Beginning I class. You can expect to complete 3-4 paintings. This class is open to any student that has taken the first beginning class from me and anyone who has a basic/general knowledge of watercolor painting. Supply list can be found here. Course Objective: Plan to experiment and explore the next level of traditional water color painting techniques – In this cases we will be continuing with the lessons from Beginning I class. This class is meant for those who have experience in watercolor painting. Our goal is to have at least 3 excellent paintings by the end of the session. Plan to have at least one group critique about mid way through the session. Please come prepared to discuss: what art is for you, what makes a good painting, why you want to be a painter, your interest, hobbies, and just all around conversations. Our first day: We will have brief introductions to include a discussion about our artistic styles. We will discuss what subjects we would like to paint, what specific painting style you would like to explore and other great insights that may arise.

Learn how to paint the perfect woodland scene, featuring birch trees and accompanying leaves, using a few simple techniques and materials. You will be guided, step-by step, through the painting process and be introduced to the art terms and techniques related to this project. Instructor Jay Rupp prefers to paint with people who have no experience painting, don't want to paint, and who can't draw a stick figure. If you are one of the “anti-artist” types, you will have the most fun and be the most amazed! If your painting turns out really nice, (as I am sure it will) you may want to paint more paintings similar to your original masterpiece. If you are an experienced artist, welcome. There is always much to learn. The “Eagle Flag” may be the highlight of your year! The painting will be in oil which is quite easy to work with. I will supply all the materials that you will need including paints, 16X20 inch canvas and painting supplies. Your painting will be ready for you to frame and put on your wall at home when you finish. (The Oil painting will take 4 weeks to dry but can still be put into the frame of your choice and hung immediately on your favorite wall). Frames will be available at the class.

Inspired by vintage penny rugs and the Russian artist Kandinsky, this design looks great in any home, office or cabin. Some physical stamina needed for felting classes. $35 supply fee, payable to instructor, includes all fibers and supplies.
