In this class we will take an in-depth review of many issues (and problems) that may be faced from our parents estate plan (or lack thereof) such as: creating a difficult Probate, loss of assets to the Nursing Home, fighting amongst the children, senior care issues, guardianship, privacy, the continued life of the surviving parent, estate tax protection, fairness and equality, legacy assets and the flow of critical information between the generations. With our 30 years of experience, we will discuss actual Minnesota examples of all of the above challenges and how they can be avoided in advance with some simple planning and exchange of information. ZAPS test-preparation seminars are designed to help each student do their personal best on the ACT. In the five-hour seminar, students will learn: Strategies for using partial knowledge to eliminate wrong choices Tips for improving in all four sub tests (English, Math, Reading and Science) Tactics for using limited testing time Take shortened practice tests that mirror the actual testing experience Reduce test anxiety and gain confidence Receive a comprehensive Study Guide and 24 practice test workouts with detailed answer explanations Get suggestions for individualized study in the days leading up to the test Motivational instruction and hands-on practice will help you understand your strengths and weaknesses.

This course is for adults and teenagers ages 15+ who are first-time swimmers! These classes are designed to teach you basic swim skills, such as: breath control, submerging underwater, floats, glides, and forward movement on front and back. These classes are slower paced to help build confidence in and around water. It's never too late to start learning how to swim! *Please note that there is no possibility to pro-rate fees, switch or make-up dates*

Always dreamed of learning Spanish or refreshing your high school Spanish? Then this class is for you! The primary focus of the class will be on building conversational tools in Spanish through interactive practice and exercises. Vocabulary topics will include common greetings and introductions, pronunciation, numbers, food, clothing, likes and dislikes. Grammar topics will include subject pronouns, the verb estar conjugation, gender of nouns, and plurality. Participants will learn how to carry on small conversations in Spanish and each class will include interesting cultural anecdotes including Spanish word origin, dialect differences, and names in Spanish. Learning a language is a lifelong journey and now you are on your way! Keep up the momentum in Beginner Spanish Part Two. Participants will continue with practical conversational components and builder phrases in Spanish enabling them to carry on small conversations related to giving and asking for directions and restaurant conversation. Vocabulary and grammar components will include weather, seasons, dates with months, days of the week, family vocabulary along with the verbs ser and tener conjugations. Culture discussions will include the importance of food, family, and friendships in Spanish speaking countries. Continue building on previous Spanish skills to further develop conversational abilities in the language which will include expressing recommendations and comparisons. Real life scenarios will be introduced and role played in Spanish to ensure a dynamic and interactive learning environment. Participants will also be delving into more complex grammatical instruction and vocabulary to create full sentences in Spanish. This will include present tense conjugation with ER & IR verbs, hobbies, sports, and workplace vocabulary in Spanish. ¿Hablas un poquito Español? Then this course is for you! Intermediate Spanish is specifically designed for the adult learner who has taken some Spanish in the past but wishes to improve conversational skills. Grammar and vocabulary concepts will include present tense AR verb conjugation, infinitive verbs, future tense with the verb IR, adverbs of frequency, useful prepositions, and more. Participants will practice conversation skills including learning how to make plans and discussing preferences in Spanish. Culture discussions will cover holiday traditions and celebrations in Spanish speaking countries. Like all Futura classes, a dynamic interactive approach will be used to keep the class fun and exciting! Come play indoor Open Pickleball at the Aŋpétu Téča Education Center gym! Bring your own paddle. Game balls and nets are provided. 3 courts are available for play. For ages 18+. Purchase an Open Pickleball Pass Card! Valid for 5 open pickleball sessions. Bring your card each time you come to class. Punch card will be given to you on your first attended open gym. The class is designed to help participants understand the mechanics of swimming by working on kicking efficiency, freestyle pull technique, backstroke, and breaststroke.
