55+ DEFENSIVE DRIVING REFRESHER - In Person Option Learn about defensive driving and receive a 10% discount on your car insurance for 3 years. You can take the 4-hour course every 3 years to continue your discount. No driving test required. Preregistration is required at least two weeks prior to the class date.

ZAPS test-preparation seminars are designed to help each student do their personal best on the ACT. In the five-hour seminar, students will learn: Strategies for using partial knowledge to eliminate wrong choices Tips for improving in all four sub tests (English, Math, Reading and Science) Tactics for using limited testing time Take shortened practice tests that mirror the actual testing experience Reduce test anxiety and gain confidence Receive a comprehensive Study Guide and 24 practice test workouts with detailed answer explanations Get suggestions for individualized study in the days leading up to the test Motivational instruction and hands-on practice will help you understand your strengths and weaknesses.

DASH Sports Multi-Sport camp includes fun skills training and games in three sports: Soccer, Flag Football, and Basketball. Campers come out of this camp with a great understanding of key skill components and gameplay of each sport. Athletes should bring a water bottle and athletic shoes and clothing. Balls and all other equipment are provided.

Join this class, to make 4 beautiful Alcohol Ink (AI) glass Glitter Ornaments After prepping the ornaments, the instructor will discuss and demo various processes of working with AI. Then you will pick colors of your choice to create unique ornament for yourself or as a gift. Note: Each ornament can reflect the same color scheme or each ornament can be a different color scheme. Totally your choice! The ornaments are painted on the inside so the colors will last forever. Supply fee payable to instructor the night of class: $20. Seeds are the foundation of a garden. This class is all about seeds and you will learn about choosing seeds, growing seeds, and saving seeds. This class is offered by the U of M Extension Master Gardener volunteers of Ramsey County, who are eager to share research-based gardening best practices with the people in their community. In this class, you will create 25 all-occasion cards (five cards of five different designs). All materials will be cut and ready for you to stamp and assemble. Materials, envelopes and tools for you to create all 25 cards are included with registration. However, participants WILL NEED to bring their own adhesive (double stick tape, tape runner, glue stick) which can be found at most craft stores, or I will have some available for purchase the night of class. We all feel anxious at times. It’s a normal human emotion. When anxiety gets the better of us or becomes a daily state of being, however, we need to take a close look at why. ACE Health Coach, Mia Bremer, will share tools she's learned from both personal experience and years of experience coaching people living with mental health disorders . As a personal trainer, Mia understands how the mind and body work together.

Pack your (pretend) bags and get ready for a globe-trotting journey! In this exciting adventure, students will explore cultures, languages, and traditions from around the world. Each week, we’ll "visit" a new country and discover what makes it unique through interactive activities and creative projects. From tasting new flavors to stepping into global traditions, this experience offers a fun and enriching way to connect with the world.

Join us for a globe-trotting adventure without ever leaving St. Paul! On our "Around the World at the Zoo" day, students will explore the incredible diversity of animals from across the continents right at Como Zoo. As young explorers, students will "travel" to different regions of the world—Africa, Asia, South America, the Arctic, and beyond—visiting animals native to each environment and learning how their unique habitats shape their survival.

Instructor Jay Rupp prefers to paint with people who have no experience painting, don't want to paint, and who can't draw a stick figure. If you are one of the “anti-artist” types, you will have the most fun and be the most amazed! If your painting turns out really nice, (as I am sure it will) you may want to paint more paintings similar to your original masterpiece. If you are an experienced artist, welcome. There is always much to learn. The “Winter Wonderland” may be the highlight of your year! The painting will be in oil which is quite easy to work with. I will supply all the materials that you will need including paints, 16X20 inch canvas and painting supplies. Your painting will be ready for you to frame and put on your wall at home when you finish. (The Oil painting will take 4 weeks to dry but can still be put into the frame of your choice and hung immediately on your favorite wall). Frames will be available at the class.
