Dance your heart out with our new high intensity aerobics class! This is a combination of different dance styles and water exercise to help burn off calories to different themed days. This is a higher impact exercise class that will have loud music playing in the background. Participants must be able to maintain balance without assistance for the duration of class. Course is not recommended for those with limited mobility or joint issues. Participants must pre-register online/over the phone or pay cash at the door.

Classes will be held in-person & Livestreamed on Zoom. Once you have registered for the class, you can choose which way you want to participate. Each day you will receive an email with the link for the Zoom class so you can choose to come in-person, or dance in your living room! All in-person Jazzercise classes are held at Aŋpétu Téča Education Center, 1910 County Rd B W, Roseville. Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays: Cardio Sculpt A high intensity 60 minute mix of dance-based cardio and strength training for a calorie-crushing total body workout. Not only will you rock it to fresh pulse-pounding music, we also target the 3 major muscle groups – upper body, abs and legs – so, you’ll feel it where you need it! Tuesdays: Sculpt60 Sculpt60: A hardcore mix of standing and floor work targets the major muscle groups to build strength and carve your curves. Weights, tubes and natural resistance engage your muscles while red-hot playlists distract you from the burn. Wednesdays: Interval CardioSculpt Our signature dance-based class format with a metabolism-boosting twist. Alternate between high and low intensity dance-based cardio intervals (HIIT) for 40 minutes followed by 20 minutes of strength training and stretch. This class will have you working at your maximum to burn calories long after class is over. Labor in Film: My Work, My Risk, My Sweat

Despite being advertised as romance, crime, horror, or heroism, many popular films are often revolve around work. This class will examine portrayals of working and having a job in films, drawing from critical economic, philosophical, and sociological theories of work. Various types of labor and the economic systems shaping them will be analyzed, with a particular focus on how gender and race influence onscreen representations of work. No expertise required. Let's Probate an Actual Minnesota Estate

In this class we will walk-thru (in depth) an actual Minnesota Probate Estate from the filing of the Application for Probate to the Final Accounts . . . and all the steps in between. Class participants will learn the entire process with current forms, Court and filing requirements, accounting and procedural steps, as well as the procedures for the sale and distribution of estate assets. We will also discuss the roles, responsibilities, and liabilities of a person who is appointed as the Executor/Personal Representative. The class will be filled with real-life examples and solutions to the multitude of issues involving a typical (or not typical) Minnesota Probate Estate. This class encourages questions: Is there a “reading of the Will”? What about personal items? Does the Executor get paid? What about estate bills and creditors? We will provide the answers.

Three factors are causing an unprecedented “perfect storm” of vulnerability to fraud and identity theft for the average American: the ongoing effects of the pandemic with its uncertainty and isolation, rapid advances in consumer technology, and how consumer protections are not keeping pace. New scams emerge almost daily often using the same proven psychological tactics. Knowing about these makes people far less likely to be victimized and lose money. With fraud losses skyrocketing in our country, now is the time to shift your mindset about your vulnerabilities, and what’s needed to protect yourself and loved ones. Free blood pressure screening is available from 8:30-9am before this session.

Posture and Osteoporosis - Building Better Bones (Online)

Have you ever caught sight of your reflection in a window or mirror to see that your head leads the way? Or noticed that your shoulders and upper back are too rounded forward? You’ll learn simple techniques to improve posture and stand straighter. We’ll do exercises to help flatten the upper back, un-round shoulders and flatten your midsection. Learn how to reduce the risk of osteoporosis and how to re-gain bone mass. We’ll discuss the latest research findings on nutrition, minerals and trace minerals needed for bone health; foods that help and/or harm your bones and more. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. You will need a resistance band or tube for some of the exercises.

Posture, Get It Straight: Look Younger, Thinner & Feel Better

You will learn how to correct common posture problems and learn an ‘Instant Alignment Technique’ that will have you standing straighter immediately. We’ll discuss easy to implement tips when at a computer, in a car or working out. There are many benefits to improving posture. No matter how long you may have had poor posture, it is NEVER TOO LATE to make improvements. Your clothes will fit better, too! A resistance band is needed for some of the exercises.

In our seed mosaic workshop, participants will continue this great tradition by creating their own works of seed art. Participants will learn about the history and techniques of mosaic art and create a design of their own. Once completed, participants will share their designs with their fellow seed artists and share this Minnesotan art form with their family and friends!
