School age child care located in all the district elementary schools.
On Black History Makers Day, we celebrate amazing Black leaders, inventors, artists, and heroes from the past and today. Kids will learn their stories, make fun art projects, and try activities inspired by their achievements. It’s a day to explore history, be creative, and think about how we can make a difference too!
This enrichment class is run in partnership with our school-age care program, Friendship Connection, which helps us keep costs low and offer engaging opportunities before school, after school and on non-school days.
