Explore! Gather Treasures! Knowledge! And Solve Problems! Dungeons and Dragons is a fantasy table top role-playing game. We will create our own characters and embark on adventures with a fantasy setting.

Whether you consider yourself a beginner or intermediate player, join this club to meet and interact with other chess players in your school and play on a weekly basis. If they are new to the game, players will learn the basic rules and strategies of chess. Tournament play is encouraged outside of the club, but not required. Players are able to complete a full game and recognize a checkmate and stalemate Players can set and use a chess clock during a game Players are able to resolve a disagreement with & w/o adults present Players can explain the rules of chess (movement of the pieces, checkmate, & stalemate)

Welcome to felt fairyland camp! We will create our very own fairy characters using felt and a little fairy dust! Once our story is written we will use our imaginations and act out our very own fairyland stories.

Math and cooking?! We will work on measuring, fractions, multiplication, and division while making cookies. We will also review kitchen safety and basic cooking skills.

This Spanish class is for heritage Spanish speaking students who would like to deepen their Spanish skills with a focus on cultural awareness. The course will encourage conversation as well as project-based learning and interactive activities. Each day we will be “visiting” new countries to learn about unique customs, arts, foods, and music-all in Spanish! Like all Futura classes, a dynamic interactive approach will be used to keep the class fun and exciting! ¡órale! Join us now to enjoy a Spanish filled enrichment environment.

The road to Spanish language learning success begins with this all new and exciting 16-week Spanish adventure! In the fall session, Vamos por el pueblo (Let’s go to the town) the class amigos, Dani and Beto, share the culture and daily life of a small town in Mexico. After break, the journey continues with Vamos a la ciudad (Let’s go to the city!) to the bustling city of Madrid, Spain. Students will learn practical conversation skills as well as vocabulary related to the home, community, health, sports, and pastimes-- all in Spanish! This stimulating class environment energizes and motivates students to explore the enriching cultures and passion of the Spanish language. Have you ever heard of Marine Biology? In this Under the Sea camp we will explore the marine world. We will explore ways we can help keep our oceans clean and our marine life safe.

This program is for players of all grades and ages interested in participating and competing in tournament chess, or just want their chess ability to improve to the next tactical level. Players will meet Saturday morning online for chess instruction and fun competitive play. Face to face, sanctioned tournament play is strongly encouraged as well. Expert coaching will be provided for participants at many tournaments. Perfect for students that want extra challenges beyond their school clubs. Also great for students that have a scheduling conflict with their school chess club.
