In this class we will take an in-depth review of many issues (and problems) that may be faced from our parents estate plan (or lack thereof) such as: creating a difficult Probate, loss of assets to the Nursing Home, fighting amongst the children, senior care issues, guardianship, privacy, the continued life of the surviving parent, estate tax protection, fairness and equality, legacy assets and the flow of critical information between the generations. With our 30 years of experience, we will discuss actual Minnesota examples of all of the above challenges and how they can be avoided in advance with some simple planning and exchange of information. For ages 18+. We now sell 5-visit punch cards that can be used at any drop-in session. Purchase an Open Pickleball Pass Card! Valid for 5 open pickleball sessions. American Heart Association CPR, AED & First Aid

THREE OPTIONS AVAILABLE: CPR/AED Only (9:00 AM - 11:30 AM): This CPR/AED class gives individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for breathing and cardiac emergencies until advanced medical personnel arrive. This American Heart Association course certifies individuals in CPR/AED for adults, children and infants is nationally recognized and valid for two years. First Aid Only (11:30 AM - 2:30 PM): First Aid covers any emergency that does not require the use of CPR. Topics covered in this American Heart Association course include recognition and treatment for heart attacks, stroke, diabetic emergencies, allergic reactions as well as first aid treatments to wounds, fractures, burns and other common injuries. CPR/AED/First Aid (9:00 AM - 2:30 PM): This class combines CPR, AED and First Aid Training into one convenient session. Lay Responder CPR/AED with First Aid teaches the skills necessary to recognize and provide immediate care for breathing problems, cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until medical personnel arrive. Participants will be certified by the American Heart Association for: Standard First Aid and CPR/AED for adults, children and infants. This course meets the Rule 2 and 3 requirements for childcare providers. Intended Audience: Teachers, Daycare Providers, Coaches, Office Workers, new parents, or anyone who wants or needs to learn the life-saving skills of CPR and are not a healthcare professional (healthcare professionals are required to take the more advanced BLS Healthcare Provider CPR course). Beginner American Sign Language 4 - Deepening Connections

Beginner Watercolor Painting II

This class is an extension of Beginning Watercolor I. In this class you will continue with beginning watercolor exercises that were learned in the Beginning I class. You can expect to complete 3-4 paintings. This class is open to any student that has taken the first beginning class from me and anyone who has a basic/general knowledge of watercolor painting. Supply list can be found here. Course Objective: Plan to experiment and explore the next level of traditional water color painting techniques – In this cases we will be continuing with the lessons from Beginning I class. This class is meant for those who have experience in watercolor painting. Our goal is to have at least 3 excellent paintings by the end of the session. Plan to have at least one group critique about mid way through the session. Please come prepared to discuss: what art is for you, what makes a good painting, why you want to be a painter, your interest, hobbies, and just all around conversations. Our first day: We will have brief introductions to include a discussion about our artistic styles. We will discuss what subjects we would like to paint, what specific painting style you would like to explore and other great insights that may arise.

In this class we will learn the answers to: What are the roles and responsibilities of these people? How long do they serve and how much of a time commitment are we asking? How much guidance can we give them? Who makes an ideal selection for each of these vastly different roles? Who makes a bad selection for these roles? What pitfalls and problems should we be aware of? Each of these jobs: Attorney-In-Fact, Health Care Agent, Estate Executor, Trustee and Guardian are vastly different jobs that benefit you and they deserve careful thought. Houseplant Success (Online Class)

Caring for indoor plants is a little different than caring for outdoor plants. With a little special care and consideration, you can keep your indoor plants healthy and avoid common problems. This class is offered by the U of M Extension Master Gardener volunteers of Ramsey County, who are eager to share research-based gardening best practices with the people in their community. Would I qualify for Medicaid? What about my current Trust, does it protect my assets and avoid the nursing home? What is the 60-month claw back? The student will learn safety fundamentals, tool and torch usage, solid rod welding and gathering, color application, shaping, and more. Introduction to Journaling (Online Class)

Journaling is simply recording your thoughts, feelings, and insights in a written, drawn, or typed format. It can be done on paper or on a computer, and it's a low-cost way to improve your mental health. Journaling can help you reduce stress, improve your self-awareness, as well as prioritize problems, fears, and concerns, and provide an opportunity for positive self-talk. You’ll learn how to start journaling (even when you don’t know what to write), the 10 most popular types of journaling, how to kick-start self-reflection and self-discovery, and track your progress and personal growth. The instructor LeeAnne Krusemark is a former journalist, current author and editor, and a nationwide Professor of Publishing at higher learning institutions, including Harvard Adult Education. Please note that there will be no in-person classes on the following dates: June 5, 19 July 4, 5 August 30 Classes will be held in-person & Livestreamed on Zoom. Once you have registered for the class, you can choose which way you want to participate. Each day you will receive an email with the link for the Zoom class so you can choose to come in-person, or dance in your living room! All in-person Jazzercise classes are held at Aŋpétu Téča Education Center, 1910 County Rd B W, Roseville. Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays: Cardio Sculpt A high intensity 60 minute mix of dance-based cardio and strength training for a calorie-crushing total body workout. Not only will you rock it to fresh pulse-pounding music, we also target the 3 major muscle groups – upper body, abs and legs – so, you’ll feel it where you need it! Tuesdays: Sculpt60 Sculpt60: A hardcore mix of standing and floor work targets the major muscle groups to build strength and carve your curves. Weights, tubes and natural resistance engage your muscles while red-hot playlists distract you from the burn. Wednesdays: Interval CardioSculpt Our signature dance-based class format with a metabolism-boosting twist. Alternate between high and low intensity dance-based cardio intervals (HIIT) for 40 minutes followed by 20 minutes of strength training and stretch. This class will have you working at your maximum to burn calories long after class is over. Fridays: alternate between PowerSculpt45 and CardioSculpt45 PowerSculpt45: We pump up the power in this circuit-based 45 minute class to work every angle of your body. Focused muscle pumping sets will challenge your strength, and the amplified dance moves will crank up your cardio. CardioSculpt45: Our signature class format packed into 45 minutes. Set to your favorite top hits, this full-body workout combines high intensity, dance-based cardio with strength training and stretching. The perfect way to start your weekend.
