Jump, bounce, and play at Zero Gravity! We will compete in laser tag, play bouncy dodge ball, and try our run at the ropes course. Best of all, the individual trampolines are a great way to get fit in a fun way! Spending money is optional. Signed waiver is required at drop off.

This chess camp is for players that need the next level of challenge from their school club. Maybe you’re ready to “try” tournament play. Maybe you want to “improve” your tournament play. Standard chess and variations will be used to improve your skills. Participants should be interested in a deeper level of instruction beyond the basics.

Learn about role playing games by joining us on an entry level dungeon adventure. Will your group make it to safety and succeed in your quest? No experience will be required, your DM will be guiding you.

Learn about role playing games &/or how to be a better Dungeon Master! Build on what you already know or just start. Uncover the techniques hackers use, practice on specially designed websites, and master the skills to protect your online information. Get ready for an adventure playing Capture the Flag Games where you'll crack codes and outsmart cyber threats. Students should have good keyboarding skills. Get a great head start in learning how to code as well as learning computer science concepts using one of the fundamental programming languages of professional developers: Python. Its syntax allows programmers to express concepts in fewer lines of code than possible in languages such as C++ or Java, making it the perfect coding language for beginners. Is your child creative and crafty? In this class, Nena will teach students how to sew! Students will learn about basic techniques, different sewing tools, types of stitches, and how to use a sewing machine. They will create a sketch of garments and sew a project of their own design. Student can work at their own pace to sew new and exciting projects!

Welcome to the summer training season! The long-standing adage “skiers are made in the summer” cannot be more true. Summer training for high school competitors is becoming more common every year and it provides a great head start for skiers looking to improve their conditioning, technique, and understanding of the sport before the winter season. It is also a fantastic way for multi-sport athletes to build strength and endurance through a low-impact, full-body workout. Roseville’s summer training will consist of two weekday practices (Monday and Wednesday) a week. Practices will begin June 16 and conclude before the fall sports season on August 6. Team captains may also elect to host practices on off-days to give teammates a chance to train with and learn from one another between official practices. The practices will most often entail roller skiing in various locations, however, some running/pole hiking/strength practices will be scheduled throughout the summer to evaluate and improve conditioning. All weekly practices and equipment needed for each practice will be sent out in an email from the coaches on Sunday evening. A few of the locations we may visit include, but are not limited to the following: Battle Creek Regional Park, Maplewood Big Rivers Trail, Mendota Heights Franklin Ave Bridge, Minneapolis Como Lake Pavillion, Saint Paul Crosby Farm Regional Park, Saint Paul Skiers MUST bring their own helmets to every roller ski session, with absolutely no exceptions. Failure to do so will result in the athlete needing to return home OR for them to miss participating in the practice. The first weeks of practice will focus on developing skills and comfort levels on skis to make sure the athletes can safely maneuver on skis before embarking on sessions on public paths/roads.

Learn how to produce a YouTube video podcast! You will become familiar with the ins and outs of creating your podcast. Explore ideas, make a script map, and more. We will also go over refining your audio using Audacity. Edit your video, add transitions, and insert a soundtrack. Then, share your finished video with the world.
