S.E.A.K. = Scientists Eager to Acquire Knowledge. This is an outdoor science group that focuses on environmental sciences and practicing how to apply the scientific method. We will look at forestry (plant ID, graphing, and tree’s life cycle), Macroinvertebrates from our local pond, as well as building shelters. Let’s become biologists and see what facts we can discover. Learn and play some of the latest multi-player Table Top Strategy Games! Introduce yourself to deck building, worker placement, and cooperative games such as Settlers of Catan, Machi Koro, Exploding Kittens, Godsforge and more.

Unleash Your Ultimate Platform Fighter! Dive into the creation of a Super Smash Bros.-style game using Construct 3, a powerful and user-friendly game development platform. Students will learn how to design, develop, and implement various game mechanics, including character selection, combat systems, item integration, and stage design. Through hands-on projects and guided instruction, participants will learn game development principles and create a dynamic platform game. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day. Learn how to produce a YouTube video podcast! You will become familiar with the ins and outs of creating your podcast. Explore ideas, make a script map, and more. We will also go over refining your audio using Audacity. Edit your video, add transitions, and insert a soundtrack. Then, share your finished video with the world. Bring a USB drive (at least 8 GB) to save your videos on the last day.
