Journey to the magical world of Harry Potter and other magical lands. Build and program magical-themed projects. Young imaginations soar! Students will be taught foundational building and introduced to programming concepts by learning about sensors, motors, and special technics components using LEGO® WeDo systems. Possible projects include magic chest, dragons, hippogriff, magic hat, magic carpet, and magical staircase. Students will be working in pairs. What do R2-D2 and Roombas have in common? They’re robots! Learn basic robotics skills, including programming and building, using Scratch coding and Lego Spike Prime to create problem-solving robots.

Along the way, they'll explore the science of Earth's layers, identify different types of rocks, and even take home their very own geode. Perfect for curious minds who love science and a little bit of sparkle! This enrichment class is run in partnership with our school-age care program, Friendship Connection, which helps us keep costs low and offer engaging opportunities before and after school.

Step into the world of secret agent science! Young scientists in this class will unravel espionage mysteries through fascinating experiments like creating invisible ink. Learn the science behind hidden messages and more while honing your spy skills. Get ready for a thrilling journey where science meets secrecy, and every discovery holds the key to unlocking hidden knowledge! Please pack a nut free snack and drink for your child.

Take to the skies in this thrill-packed STEAM adventure! Pilot and race drones through aerial challenges, mastering the science of flight as you go. Then shift into rocket mode as we launch model rockets that soar up to 300 feet into the air! With tons hands-on projects, drone games, and sky-high experiments, you’ll experience the ultimate mix of engineering, creativity, and pure adrenaline!

Get ready to launch into a universe of fun! Kids will explore the wonders of space with hands-on art, science, and snack activities. From swirling galaxy paintings to straw rockets and glittering galaxy slime, every activity is sure to be out of this world! Students participating in these classes will check in with Friendship Connection, receive a snack, and have a brief recess before class begins.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find the Top Secret Files before time runs out! Step into the shoes of a secret agent and use your spy skills to: Crack secret codes Reveal hidden messages Solve puzzles and complete challenges Unlock the final mission and save the day! This exciting, hands-on escape room is packed with mystery, teamwork, and brain-teasing fun. Can you and your fellow agents complete the mission and become official Spy School heroes?

Learn and play some of the latest multi-player Table Top Strategy Games! Introduce yourself to deck building, worker placement, and cooperative games such as Settlers of Catan, Machi Koro, Exploding Kittens, Godsforge and more.

This course will give you hands-on experience developing your game using Scratch, a visual coding platform. Students will learn to think like programmers and learn coding concepts while creating a 2-dimensional, arcade-style Super Mario Bros.-themed game. The first part of the class will be instructor-led. With any remaining time, students will have the opportunity to customize their games. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day. Step into the sweetest lab on Earth and mix up a world of fun, flavor, and science! Become a candy chemist as you create your own Gummy Bears, whip up edible slime, and experiment with sugary mixes. Learn the amazing STEAM behind your favorite treats while designing creative packaging for your confections. We’ll make this lab even sweeter with other exciting activities. It’s messy, mouthwatering, and oh-so-fun—the perfect recipe for a super-sweet summer adventure!

Analyze evidence, examine mock crime scenes, and apply logic and reasoning to solve mysterious cases and figure out “whodunit.” PM Camp Only Codebreakers 1:30pm-3:30pm Codebreakers: Enter a world of puzzles, logic, and coding creativity. Design and build your own escape room complete with clever challenges, secret codes, and interactive problem-solving that will test your critical thinking skills and imagination. Get ready for the ultimate hands-on adventure where you’ll build an exciting collection of fidgets and pop-its, unleash your creativity with cool projects, and even invent your own one-of-a-kind fidget design. With a mix of building, crafting, and playful STEAM challenges, this camp is perfect for kids who love to keep their hands busy and their imaginations inspired!

Online Virtual Class: Learn how to develop your own game! Students will create their maze using Construct 3, a visual coding platform that teaches students the basics and structure of programming. Basic computer skills are required. Home Technical Requirements: Computer: PC (Windows 10 or later) or Mac (OSX) with at least a 2GHz processor and 4GB of RAM Chromebooks, Tablets, and phones DO NOT Work.
