623 Walk Run623 Walk Run36th Annual 623 Walk/Run Saturday, November 12, 2022 The 35th Annual 623 Walk Run is going back to in-person this year! Get active while making a difference in our community! Same-day registration starts at 8:00am at Roseville Area High School in the gym lobby. Join us for a fun, healthy event as we take a scenic tour through Roseville with family, friends and neighbors. 6.23 kilometer walk/run starts and ends at Roseville Area High School running through Central Park. American Red Cross CPR, AED & First AidMind & BodyTHREE OPTIONS AVAILABLE: CPR/AED Only (9:00 AM - 11:30 AM): This CPR/AED class gives individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for breathing and cardiac emergencies until advanced medical personnel arrive. This American Red Cross course certifies individuals in CPR/AED for adults, children and infants is nationally recognized and valid for two years. First Aid Only (11:30 AM - 2:30 PM): First Aid covers any emergency that does not require the use of CPR. Topics covered in this American Red Cross course include recognition and treatment for heart attacks, stroke, diabetic emergencies, allergic reactions as well as first aid treatments to wounds, fractures, burns and other common injuries. CPR/AED/First Aid (9:00 AM - 2:30 PM): This class combines CPR, AED and First Aid Training into one convenient session. Lay Responder CPR/AED with First Aid teaches the skills necessary to recognize and provide immediate care for breathing problems, cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until medical personnel arrive. Participants will be certified by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross for: Standard First Aid and CPR/AED for adults, children and infants. This course meets the Rule 2 and 3 requirements for childcare providers. Intended Audience: Teachers, Daycare Providers, Coaches, Office Workers, new parents, or anyone who wants or needs to learn the life-saving skills of CPR and are not a healthcare professional (healthcare professionals are required to take the more advanced BLS Healthcare Provider CPR course). Professional Photographer and Amateur Historian, Jay Grammond has travelled the state capturing images of barns of all shapes, sizes, and conditions. There is just something about a barn! There are some areas of the State where the barns are adorned with something called a Barn Quilt. Barn Quilts are pieces of art on the side of a barn, shed, or house that usually tell some sort of story.
