Calling all curious kids who love to dig, plant, and explore! This fall, our Garden Warriors will discover the magic of nature right in the garden. From harvesting veggies and planting tulips to dissecting flowers and preparing beds for winter, each session is packed with hands-on activities, outdoor fun, and tasty garden-themed snacks. Along the way, we’ll learn about compost, roots, pollinators, and the parts of plants we eat—building science skills and a love for the natural world. Come grow with us this season!

Join us for a globe-trotting adventure without ever leaving St. Paul! On our "Around the World at the Zoo" day, students will explore the incredible diversity of animals from across the continents right at Como Zoo. As young explorers, students will "travel" to different regions of the world—Africa, Asia, South America, the Arctic, and beyond—visiting animals native to each environment and learning how their unique habitats shape their survival.

Squeeze away stress and feel calm anytime! In this hands-on wellness activity, students will create their own squishy stress balls using simple materials like flour, rice, or play dough. These stress balls are great tools for calming down, focusing, or managing big emotions—and they’re fun to make too!

Let imagination lead the way—one stone at a time! In this hands-on activity, students create and use painted stones with winter-themed images to spark their storytelling skills. Each stone becomes a magical piece of a bigger story, helping students practice creativity, sequencing, and oral or written storytelling.

In this fun and creative craft, students turn a simple paper plate into a snowy world filled with imagination. Using cut-out characters, glitter, and a "clear dome" made from plastic wrap or a sheet protector, kids design their own winter wonderland.

On Pumpkin Day, students will celebrate the season with pumpkin-themed crafts, games, and learning activities. From decorating mini pumpkins to exploring pumpkin science and reading festive stories, this day is all about creativity, curiosity, and autumn spirit. Don’t forget to wear something orange or pumpkin-themed to join in the fun!

Join us for an exciting and educational Reptile Day featuring a special visit from Snake Discovery! This unforgettable event gives kids and families the chance to learn about reptiles through hands-on crafts, fun activities, and a live animal presentation.

Are you ready to get your groove on? Our Dance Party is all about getting active, shaking off stress, and celebrating the joy of movement. Students will groove to fun, age-appropriate music while building coordination, confidence, and a sense of community
