Welcome to a week straight out of a storybook! Grab your pixie dust and get ready for a week of magic. PM OnlyGlittermania 1:30pm-3:30pm Glittermania: Some people love it, some people really don’t, but this week we all LOVE glitter! In this camp we will be crafting up a storm with glitter! Join us to make glitter slime, glittery galaxies in a bottles, and more.

Northeast Regional Open Chess Final Tournament
Elementary and secondary chess players are invited to participate in the ""NE Regional Open Chess Final". Whether you participated in a chess club or not in the fall, winter, or spring, you are invited to compete in this short, fun tournament where you can play against students representing Mounds View, St. Anthony-New Brighton and Mahtomedi school districts! Time controls will be used when necessary to keep the tournament within time constraints. The format and recognition will be based on the number of registered participants in each grade level and school. Anticipated sections will be Secondary 7th-12th, Invitational Elementary (Top Club Players), Open Elementary K-1st & 2nd-6th. Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ins will be accepted. Tournament etiquette and procedures will be explained at the event for players new to tournament play. Players are not eliminated. Everyone plays in each round unless there is a bye because of an odd number of participants. Typically there are 4-5 rounds. Check-in will be 30 minutes before the posted start time. A great way to end of the Chess season.Concessions Available: Breakfast, Lunch & Snack ItemsSupervision will be provided. Parents/guardians are allow to stay, but are not allowed in the playing area and will be asked to wait in the lobby area. Mask will be required while playing across from your opponent, but optional elsewhere.This tournament is being held at Edgewood Middle School -5100 Edgewood Dr, Mounds View, MN 55112

Strategy Game Buffet with CSGA
Science & Technology
Learn & play some of the latest multi-player Table Top Strategy Games! These include card card games & board games. Introduce yourself to deck building, worker placement, and cooperative games. Participants will have some choice of what they want to learn and play, from Settlers of Catan to Exploding Kittens. We have lots of options! We can always take a break each day and also incorporate games with physical activity as needed.

Video Game Design with Tech Academy
Science & Technology
Join us for an exciting week of game design! This course will give you hands-on experience developing your own game. Students will create their own version of asteroids from scratch, using construct 3, a visual coding platform that teaches students the basics and structure of programming. Computer skills are needed (this includes good keyboard and mouse skills). Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day.

Video Production for Youtube with Tech Academy
Science & Technology
Learn how to create YouTube content! Shoot videos, edit sound, and create an online presence with YouTube. In the first half of camp, learn the tricks pro filmmakers use for better shots, lighting, and sound. You will also learn to use our film editing software in a class project. Then, in the second half of camp, students will work on a group unboxing or product review video. Edit your video, add transitions and special effects, and insert a soundtrack. Finally, share your finished video with the world. Bring a USB drive (at least 8 GB) to save your video on the last day. Students should have basic reading skills.

Virtual Reality Coding with Tech Academy
Science & Technology
Design, develop, and create 3D Virtual Reality environments and characters to make your own 3D games and other virtual reality for kid’s projects on Metaverse new platform Hatch. Hatch is an incredibly fun and stimulating way to learn STEM! This class is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology, coding, and want to explore the limitless possibilities of VR. VR programs can be viewed on most mobile phones, and VR Systems like oculus or google cardboard. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day.
