School age child care located in all the district elementary schools.
Kids will mix simple household ingredients to create stretchy, squishy, and super fluffy slime! Using glue, shaving cream, baking soda, and contact solution, students explore how combining materials causes a fun chemical reaction. This hands-on STEM activity encourages creativity, sensory play, and learning about states of matter—all while making something they can play with and take home.
This enrichment class is run in partnership with our school-age care program, Friendship Connection, which helps us keep costs low and offer engaging opportunities before and after school.
