Calligraphy is the highest form of Chinese art and a fulfilling meditative practice that leaves you with beautiful writing. Appreciate the beauty of Chinese culture as you learn a few basic brush strokes of calligraphy.
Late Registration: If you miss the deadline but are still interested, you can contact the Community Ed office by emailing us at CommunityEd@isd623.org or calling: 651-604-3770. Space may be limited, but we'll try our best to accommodate late registrations.
Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your registration, in order to receive a refund, you must notify Roseville Area Schools Community Education at least one (1) week prior to start date of the class/event/camp/activity, and that I will be issued a refund minus a $5 service charge. Registrations are not refunded in the event of a weather cancellation.
Joseph Lin originally came from Taiwan and has been living in Minnesota for over 30 years. He knows Chinese language, culture, and history well, and has strong connection with Chinese/American communities. He has compassion to spread Chinese culture through teaching language, the art of Chinese Calligraphy, and 3D paper sculpturing. Joseph started to learn Chinese Calligraphy and paper folding as a young child and continues his exploring in Chinese calligraphy and paper folding through nowadays. He has been teaching Mandarin, Chinese Calligraphy, and 3D paper sculpturing in many schools and different community settings for many years. He appreciates the beauty of Chinese culture and is eager to share his compassion with anyone who is interested in Chinese culture.
