This cozy cowl has it all! It’s reversible, it’s convertible, it’s all gender! Join us and explore the contemporary art of nuno felting! Learn to combine soft wool fibers and silk fabric, then decorate your cowl with a variety of embellishments, including more silk! Your felted cowl can convert to an ear warmer/headband, if you’d like. Felting experience helpful, but bold beginners are welcome. Some physical stamina needed for felting classes. $35 supply fee payable to instructor in cash or check. Bring from home: an old bath towel, 2-3 hand towels, sharp scissors, tape measure, plastic bag to carry home wet items, bag lunch. Optional: apron, light weight/open weave silk fabrics or silk scarves to use as embellishment.

Registration for all class sessions closes 3 days before the start date.

Late Registration: If you miss the deadline but are still interested, you can contact the Community Ed office by emailing us at CommunityEd@isd623.org or calling: 651-604-3770. Space may be limited, but we'll try our best to accommodate late registrations.

Refund Policy

If you need to cancel your registration, in order to receive a refund, you must notify Roseville Area Schools Community Education at least one (1) week prior to start date of the class/event/camp/activity, and that I will be issued a refund minus a $5 service charge. Registrations are not refunded in the event of a weather cancellation.
