On Black History Makers Day, we celebrate amazing Black leaders, inventors, artists, and heroes from the past and today. Kids will learn their stories, make fun art projects, and try activities inspired by their achievements. It’s a day to explore history, be creative, and think about how we can make a difference too! This enrichment class is run in partnership with our school-age care program, Friendship Connection, which helps us keep costs low and offer engaging opportunities before school, after school and on non-school days.

Cosmetic Scientist Day lets students explore the science behind beauty and hygiene products through fun, hands-on experiments. They’ll mix, measure, and create items like lip balm, bath bombs, and scented lotions. Students will learn how chemistry and creativity work together in product design. Working in teams, they’ll design and present their own product ideas at a mini “Cosmetic Expo.” It’s a fun way to blend STEM, art, and imagination while learning real-world science! Calling all crafters! Crafting possibilities are endless with a Cricut machine. Your students will get to design and make their very own take-home gifts, from stickers to iron on projects and so much more! Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get creative—DIY Day is all about building, making, and crafting with your own two hands! Students will explore their imaginations through hands-on projects like friendship bracelets, pinecone turkeys, paper lanterns, and more. It's a chance to experiment, design, and take home something they made themselves! We’re heading to Flaherty’s Arden Bowl for an afternoon of fun. Enjoy an hour of bowling, shoes included, plus a pizza party in the party room. Grab your friends and come strike up some excitement! Get ready for a relaxing, creative painting experience! Students will follow fun, step-by-step instructions to create their own colorful masterpiece while enjoying a tasty drink. It’s a calm, creative space where imaginations flow and every artist leaves with a vibrant work of art to take home! Students participating in these classes will check in with Friendship Connection, receive a snack, and have a brief recess before class begins.

Get ready to flip your creativity! In Pancake Picasso, students will turn breakfast into a work of art by learning how to design and “paint” colorful pancake creations. Using batter, food coloring, and a griddle, young artists will experiment with shapes, patterns, and characters - all made from pancakes! Get ready for a wacky mix of sunshine and snow! On S’winter Day, we’ll celebrate the best of both worlds — summer and winter — all in one day. Students will dive into fun activities like snowball games, beach crafts, icy experiments, and a “S’winter fashion show” featuring both scarves and sunglasses! It’s a day full of creativity, laughter, and imagination as we enjoy tropical treats, frosty fun, and a one-of-a-kind mashup of the seasons. Don’t forget your hat and your shades — you’ll need both for S’winter! Get ready to put on your spy glasses and step into the world of top-secret missions! On Secret Agent Day, kids become undercover agents, completing thrilling challenges, cracking codes, and solving mysteries. From navigating laser mazes to decoding secret messages, children will test their stealth, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. They’ll design spy gadgets, create disguises, and collect clues to complete their mission. By the end of the day, every agent will graduate with their own Top Secret Certificate and a badge of honor. Adventure, mystery, and fun await every secret agent! Swish swish! Come down to a day filled with basketball-themed crafts and games. Decorate a tissue paper basketball to hang on your wall, make your own portable mini basketball hoop, and finish off the day with basketball mini games in the gym. It’s a Slam Dunk! The theme of this non-school day is Winter Wonderland Extravaganza! We will be focusing on all things winter! We’ll have hot cocoa, make snowflakes, create flannel tie pillows, and go on a field trip to a local park for sledding. This field trip will include outside time in the snow. Please send students with appropriate outdoor wear (boots, hats, scarves, mittens, snowpants, winter coats, etc.) This enrichment class is run in partnership with our school-age care program, Friendship Connection, which helps us keep costs low and offer engaging opportunities before and after school.

Zero Gravity Adventure Park is the first adventure park in Minnesota and has been a locally owned family business since 2011. We offer healthy and safe family entertainment options to our community, including Trampoline Jumping Surfaces, an Arcade, the Pixel Game Floor, the Skywalker Net Course, and Laser Tag! This enrichment class is run in partnership with our school-age care program, Friendship Connection, which helps us keep costs low and offer engaging opportunities before and after school. Students participating will check in with Friendship Connection.
