We are now offering Open Pickleball hours at our indoor gymnasium at Aŋpétu Téča Education Center! Bring your own paddle! Game balls and nets are provided. 3 courts are available for play. For ages 18+.Please note: Beginning November 1st, single visit drop-in passes are no longer available. We are now selling 5-visit punch cards that can be used at any drop-in session.Purchase an Open Pickleball Pass Card! Valid for 5 open pickleball sessions. A Tex Mex Fiesta

We'll begin with "Empanadas ", pastries filled with beef, tomatoes, potatoes and herbs. Flautas are next with chicken in a jalapeno/garlic paste and fried crisp in a corn tortillas. We'll then prepare authentic Mexican rice prepared with onions, garlic, tomatoes and fresh cilantro along with Mexican style corn prepared with lime aioli, cayenne pepper and Cotija cheese. Fajitas follow with tender strips of marinated beef and chicken with fresh sauteed bell peppers and onions wrapped in a warm tortilla shell. We’ll finish this fiesta with a Yucatecan-style delight, fresh coconut blended with rich custard in a wonderful nutty crust, baked to a caramelly brown, and served with crème fraȋche. Please note: this class is non-refundable in the event of weather cancellations. Registration for all class sessions closes 3 days before the start date. ASL for Super Beginners

In this 1-day session, we will go over some of the basic signs for communicating in American Sign Language. We will work on numbers, letters, simple questions, and introducing ourselves. This session will include discussion-based learning and collective practice. All grade and experience levels are welcome to join.

Abdominal Strengtheners That Won't Stress Your Back or Neck (Online Class)

Abdominal muscles weaken and lose shape due to past pregnancies, surgeries, sitting at a desk all day, being sedentary and poor posture. Learn a series of extremely effective exercises to quickly strengthen all four layers of abdominal, WITHOUT stressing back or neck joints and WITHOUT getting on the floor. Common abdominal exercises like crunches can place too much stress on back and neck joints. Adult Conversational Spanish: Advanced Part 2 (Live Online Class)

¿Quieres ampliar tu Español? Then this is the course for you! Students will expand their skills learning new complex grammatical concepts and sentence structures. Challenge yourself and build your language expertise with an overview of the subjunctive in Spanish. The Spanish subjunctive is a special verb form used to express uncertainty, possibility, mood, and expressions. Ability to access zoom and basic working computer knowledge essential. Applicable to students who completed Advanced Spanish Part 1 or have had more than two years of the Spanish language.

Participants will continue with practical conversational components and builder phrases in Spanish enabling them to carry on small conversations related to giving and asking for directions and restaurant conversation. Vocabulary and grammar components will include weather, seasons, dates with months, days of the week, family vocabulary along with the verbs ser and tener conjugations. Culture discussions will include the importance of food, family, and friendships in Spanish speaking countries. Continue building on previous Spanish skills to further develop conversational abilities in the language which will include expressing recommendations and comparisons. Real life scenarios will be introduced and role played in Spanish to ensure a dynamic and interactive learning environment. Participants will also be delving into more complex grammatical instruction and vocabulary to create full sentences in Spanish. This will include present tense conjugation with ER & IR verbs, hobbies, sports, and workplace vocabulary in Spanish. Exciting culture discussions are related to music, dance, and famous people in Spanish speaking countries. Applicable to new students and previous Spanish Conversation participants.

YOU'RE INVITED! Join Roseville Community Education for a night under the stars at our first ADULT PROM! Do you have nostalgic feelings for your senior prom, that “night to remember?" Or have you tried hard to forget the whole thing and would like a do-over? Maybe you didn’t go to the prom at all, and would like to create your own special experience? Dig out your best attire and get ready to dance, party and relive the high school prom experience! Tuxedos, suits, sport coats, new or old outfits, formal dresses, bridesmaid dresses, sundresses - anything goes, and repeat outfits are welcome. Your admission includes the dance, a live DJ, tasty snacks, and an exciting photo booth! This is a great event for your friend group, or a romantic date night with your partner. Must be age 18 or older to attend. Please note: we are an alcohol, tobacco, and drug-free facility.
