Celebrate Grandparents Day with a joyful 3-week series designed especially for grandparents and their grandkids! Join for one session or all 3! 

"Grand Moments" brings generations together through playful, hands-on activities that spark connection, creativity, and fun. Whether you’re making art, baking sweet treats, or building something amazing, each session invites you to laugh, learn, and create memories side by side.
Perfect for children ages 3–8 and their grandparent(s) or a special older adult.

Week 1: Hand in Hand – Art & Keepsake Crafts

• Create handprint art together (“Growing Together” or “Helping Hands” canvas)
• Decorate picture frames and take a buddy photo
• Make a “Memory Jar” with sweet or silly questions to answer together
• Goal: Celebrate connection through storytelling and keepsake-making

Week 2: Kitchen Connections – Bake & Create

• Decorate cupcakes or cookies together with fun toppings
• Make “My Favorite Recipe” cards—kids can draw, grandparents can write
• Sip cocoa or lemonade and enjoy a mini tea party
• Goal: Bond through baking, sharing stories, and simple kitchen fun

Week 3: Little Builders & Big Ideas – STEM Play Day

• Build towers and bridges using blocks, cups, or craft sticks
• Do a “Sink or Float?” experiment with everyday items
• Try a teamwork challenge like “Build a cozy fort for a stuffed animal”
• Goal: Encourage creativity, teamwork, and exploration through playful science
