This is a comprehensive, 5-hour, retirement planning course broken into two, 2.5-hour, evening sessions that includes a 100 page book all for $49. We cover maximizing income sources like social security, annuities, pensions and investment withdrawals. We discuss minimizing taxes and tax diversification in tax deferred and tax free accounts like Roth IRAs, Roth 401(k)s, Roth conversions and Health Savings Accounts. We include an investment education section on stocks, bonds and mutual funds. We dive into retirement risk management including Medicare, Medicaid, disability insurance, long term care and life insurance. And we close with high level estate planning. One additional guest may attend at no additional cost.

Mark Josephs and Patrick Murphy have been teaching community financial education for over 10 years and have over 40 years of combined industry experience. Mark and Pat both have degrees in finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Investment products and services are offered through LPL Financial, member FINRA and SIPC. Both of them live in the St. Paul area with Mark in Vadnais Heights and Pat in Mendota Heights.
