Roseville Area Schools Community Education

The goal of the Roseville Youth Wrestling program is to introduce the sport of wrestling to youth grades 2 - 6! This program will offer opportunities for Fun, Play, Hard Work, Technique, Competition and all the other benefits the sport of wrestling has to offer children. This is an introduction to basic wrestling that any child, of any experience level, is invited to be part of. It is NOT a hardcore, specialized program that competes with other clubs. If that’s what you are looking for, this program will not fit your needs. Our motto is 100% FUN and we plan on making sure that is what your child will experience. Each student will receive a t-shirt and enjoy an end of year pizza party!

This program will be coached by the current Roseville High School Wrestling coaches and wrestlers. On the first night,  we will ask the parents to please stay for the first 10 minutes for a short informational meeting, and to observe what a typical practice will look like. We want you to know who will be working with your children, and what to expect. After, we ask that parents/guardians avoid being in the wrestling room from 6:00-7:15pm. We want to maximize space and limit distractions. If you are a parent with wrestling experience and want to volunteer as a coach, please contact head coach Nate Thome at nathaniel.thome@isd623.org.
