Aquatics / Youth Lessons -
Winter/Spring 2024

Students will learn:

  • 25 yards – Any stroke/combination
  • Survival float 1 minute
  • Underwater streamline glide on front
  • Underwater streamline glide on back
  • Front crawl 15 yards (w/ rotary breathing)
  • Elementary backstroke 25 yards
  • Breaststroke 15 yards
  • Back crawl 25 yards
  • Sidestroke 10 yards
  • Dolphin kick 10 yards
  • Open turn on front
  • Open turn on back
  • Tread water for 60+ seconds
  • Retrieve multiple objects off bottom of pool in shallow water
  • Kneeling dive from side of pool (PARKVIEW POOL ONLY)
  • Water Safety Skills
