This is a floor-based class built on deep breathing and core muscle development. These body-stretching exercises are designed to improve your flexibility and alignment as you build and maintain your core strength. You will leave feeling stronger in body, taller in posture, and lighter in body, mind, and spirit. Recommended tools are a yoga mat.
Margaret Cummings is a highly rated ACE certified group fitness instructor. She and the class make exercise as enjoyable as possible with room for laughter. We welcome you to join us.
Margaret is a certified 200-hour yoga instructor and is also a certified Senior Fitness Specialist. She has a B.A. in Dance from the University of Missouri-Kansas city's Conservatory of Music and Dance. She was an award winning high school gymnast on beam and floor exercise in St. Louis. She taught at the Nickolaus Technique studio, Body Art and at Back In Shape owned by Marjorie Jaffe in NYC. She's lived in Roseville since 2005 and has volunteered with Roseville Schools, Harriet Alexander Nature Center and with Tapestry Folkdance Center in Minneapolis.
